Good lord, I feel like Jethro Clampett all of a sudden.

I'm glad that thing didn't ask about my liberal use of phrases like "high as a Georgia pine" and "hotter than a two dollar pistol."

Oh my God, the only person who I have EVER heard say that is one of my ultra country friends from South Carolina! It's such a cute little expression .

And yeah, what's up with that quiz not asking about cart vs buggy?

"Accent", no...

...but "C'mon, baby, Daddy needs a new pair of shoes" while rolling dice is a common regional phrase.

66% and I've always lived in the south. I say buggy, ya'll, ain't, but will never call a drink pop

I feel dumb for asking this, but if caught isn't pronounced like "kawt", how is it pronounced?

I have a stupid accent but is "kawt" meant to rhyme with "fort"? If so I pronounce caught AND coat like that...

My aunt used to say it. Another one I'm fond of (made semi-famous by the movie Alice Doesn't Live Here Anymore) is: "She went to sh!t and the hogs ate her." (Said as a response when someone asks where a person is, and you want to convey that you don't know and don't care).

And kawt sort of rhymes with "ow" (as in "Ow, I stubbed my toe"), but not exactly.

Ok, that's what I'm thinking. I was mispronouncing "kawt" in my head, but if it sounds like ow, then I have been saying it right by pronouncing it like aught, right?

91% on this one. I say faucet, not spigot, and I call it a basket instead of a cart or buggy.

'Shopping buggy' is hilarious. Is it horse-drawn?

It's just "buggy," not "shopping buggy."

I thought Kawt would be pronounced like aught too. Like a crow 'caws'. So I chose caught = kawt. I'm so confused.

Ok, makes a tiny bit more sense. Still pretty funny to me. BTW, I live in East Texas now, and when they say hilarious they pronounce it 'high-larious'. Any of y'all do that?
