To my knowledge, all the guys who have received me have done the same thing. That is the underlying problem with gay sex, though. It's something you have to prepare for. And lemme tell ya, NOTHING can ruin the moment like having to stop making out with someone to go, umm.... evacuate. Unless you're a nasty ho, anal sex is just too much work for the most part... and I get by most of the time doing other things instead. That's just me, though.
From my experience/stories I've heard, the receiver should be okay as long as they've gone relatively recently. Unless you feel like you have to go, I don't think it'd be an issue. Hasn't been for me

Yes, yes you can. Shakespeare make up hundreds and got some weird reactions from his audiences/readers, but now we use them every day "LOL" and "OMG" just recently entered the OED-- someone made those up a few years back. The beauty of language is that it is versatile and continuously evolving.

to be fair, shakespeare was living in a time before "standard english" was a concept. to compare his use/abuse of english to contemporary use/abuse of english is to compare apples and oranges. furthermore, many words that were first recorded in shakespeare's manuscripts like "lumen" (light) have latin and greek roots - hardly a defense for "just making up words." shakespeare also spelled his own name like 12 different ways. maybe he was just dyslexic.

of course language is ever-evolving, but i tend to be pretty conservative regarding what constitutes a valid contribution to the language and what does not. what is the point of making up a word if one already exists to express what you're thinking? the point of language is to be precise and efficient (if you know what you're doing). what kind of noodle-brained bloviator thinks that what he/she is feeling is SO erudite and SO important that he needs to make up a word to express it? (see what i did there?)

not that i'm against the word "shat." i'm just a curmudgeonly prescriptivist.

it's gender-neutral singular, and no, you're not.

Agreed. Mark just sounded pretty black-or-white about it, and I wanted to point out the evolution of language didn't stop a few hundred years ago. Great example of this: urbandictionary.com. Although most of those words and phrases will never be "validated" and used universally, it shows the expansive influence that society has on language. We don't have the right to assume that our generation's contributions to language won't be critical in the future. The creation of valid words (those tried and tested over time) isn't limited to our great writers. I think that's the interesting thing about modern linguistics-- our entire society contributes to the major changes in language, like with the newest OED additions. Pretty cool.

true. the internet is the "great equalizer" when it comes to vocabularical innoventions.

on the flip side, as a crusty old prescriptivist, i feel the need to be more vigilant in these trying times of word anarchy.

That's the ticket!

I couldn't masturbate over Stevie. I refuse to besmirch her in such a manner in my own head.
