i completely agree. i think the idea was for the photo to be more of a surreal likeness than to be literally interpreted.

That makes sense--guess I'm just a literal person =)

^This^ is Stevie.

There are so many things wrong with the new album cover, I laughed out loud for about 10 minutes when I saw it. The lens flare? Dear god, my 12-year old brother knows how to use that in Photoshop. It's *so* cheap. Why not use actual sunlight, or if you want it to be ~mystikal~, add some fog... anything but the awful Photoshop Lens Flare. Lesson 1 in Graphic Design for us was: never use the lens flare effect. I cannot and will not get over this. Ever.

Her face? Doesn't even look like her.

And that damn horse. Come on, it's a *horse*! Hey, why not go all the way and put her next to a unicorn, that would have definitely made the picture complete. This album cover would have scored big on meditationmusic.com .

The music better be absolutely mindblowing if it is to make up for this.
I totally agree that this was WAY overproduced. And I also love that picture of Stevie...I own it =). I think she definitely should have gone for something like that, but overall I'm happy with the idea behind the picture. And tbh, I'm not even sure that's her. Just saying.

You clearly have no appreciation for hot daddies.

Would Stevie give us a surprise song for the album? Such as Three Birds of Rhiannon

Now that you mention it...

This album cover may be her most controversial yet!

In my book that cover can't be topped.

A white horse is phallic? You lost me.

I guess Mama is not the first or the last one to do this.
He's such a heavy smoker. It really shows on his skin. Can't Meg Ryan teach him about injectables?

It would take about two dump trucks of cement to fill in those cracks.

P.S. Shouldn't they be releasing some new artwork soon? A cover is not enough. Sorry to complain, but I'm sure they have a ton of photos to choose from. I want to see what they came up with.

I don't think I've ever had a dream with horses in it.
