Here we go again with the "witch" allegations: are you a good witch, or a bad witch Stevie??????

Stevie, your horse isn't quite a unicorn, but definitely a beauty. Perhaps an ordinary white horse- but for the mystically inclined, perhaps Shadowfax or Pegasus. I do appreciate the "Bella Donna" lyrical influence.

Anyone disappointed that she isn't smiling?

She's not a witch. She is a vampire! Get with it! No, I'm disappointed. I love the eerie look on her face.

hahah I posted a similar picture early on in the thread...

i was hoping that it was an intentional reference to play on the witch debacle, but i think Stevie may have been too annoyed by all that to see the humor, so it probably isnt.

Upon looking at IYD again today, I clucked to myself, "well, an older male rocker would never stick a fake, younger version of himself on the cover..." but then I remembered this whopper from 2008:

Fake:

Reality:

I guess Mama is not the first or the last one to do this.

And I for one am standing up applauding Stevie, along with Dave, for bringing it all full circle - with no apology or ambiguity!

I'm reminded of when Stevie embarked on her solo career upon the making of Bella Donna, and one of Jimmy Iovines main objectives was to steer clear of the airy-fairy image that people had conjured up in their minds about Stevie Nicks. Well finally, here she is, in all her GLORY.
Mmmmmkay. Well then, NOW I am on board!

^This^ is Stevie.

There are so many things wrong with the new album cover, I laughed out loud for about 10 minutes when I saw it. The lens flare? Dear god, my 12-year old brother knows how to use that in Photoshop. It's *so* cheap. Why not use actual sunlight, or if you want it to be ~mystikal~, add some fog... anything but the awful Photoshop Lens Flare. Lesson 1 in Graphic Design for us was: never use the lens flare effect. I cannot and will not get over this. Ever.

Her face? Doesn't even look like her.

And that damn horse. Come on, it's a *horse*! Hey, why not go all the way and put her next to a unicorn, that would have definitely made the picture complete. This album cover would have scored big on meditationmusic.com .

The music better be absolutely mindblowing if it is to make up for this.

Hi...Don't know if anyone posted this yet but isn't Stevie's "Moon" backwards...Seems like every pic I've seen of her it's the other way around...Perhaps Stevie has been "Flipped"...Can a Ledgie reverse the image? This may be why she looks different...

Yeah, imagine the horse having been on the left. Now that would have looked ridiculous, wouldn't it now?
