duh. at any rate it doesn't matter what technique they used, the point is they were more judicious with the photoshop and the result is that she looks more human.

well barbara is not in a bubble or on a surreal cover, she's doing a standard safe cover and stevie is a lot farther away so they aren't going to go into her face and let some wrinkles show through especially when it's in a bubble and supposed to look eerie.

Dude, in all those cover albums they at least still look like the person they are representing. In Stevie's case, it looks like a niece or a long lost daughter.

I think most of the cover is gorgeous, but not too much of a fan of the horse...

but it will do. I like how Stevie's face seems like a ghost in a fog as she wanders through the forest, and how the bubble meets the tree and it looks like the moon.

, but we always have those who feel the need to nitpick & rip apart everything~ i'm personally, as a fan of 37+ years, happy for any little tidbit we get from stevie, she could very well be retired & just a distant memory~

It's a beautiful image, and I love the horse. Visually, it's more interesting than all of her previous album covers, except maybe TISL.
