Lay off the photoshop on her face. She looks 15. If that's the look they're going for then yeah, it's great. I do like the imagery and the dress. In my dreams Stevie doesn't look 15 and I'm good with that.

oh I just made the banner as a take on Twilight, because she sorta looks like vampire rising or going to bed for the evening. Just supposed to be fun.

This picture may play into the upcoming videos and give us a new whole way of interpreting it. In a way, even though they were never meant to tell the same story, the Hold Me video added to my appreciation of the Mirage album cover.

I recall in a Wild Heart era interview when she stated "In five years when I'm 40 and everyone else doing this is 14 then i'll retire"Of course back then who could have known about photoshopping when even a septugenarian can look pubescent again!

Yes, if the cover concept wasn't hers, in much the same way that the Civil War Stand Back horse wasn't her idea.

At any rate, I never predicted that the "phony" part would come to life so vibrantly.

at any rate - i love the cover. it's very herbert worthington. regardless, i wish they'd been slightly more niggardly in terms of airbrushing. we'll see what happens!
