He's got a bald spot in the back of his head, which hasn't seemed to be spreading very much over the years, so that's a good thing. The front is where all of the action has been taking place.

He should start spreading the rumor that men with big foreheads are highly intelligent -- and great lovers.

When I was watching the Golden Globes last week, I couldn't help but be reminded of Lindsey when I saw Warren Beatty.

Here's a pic in profile that offers the big forehead view:

And here's another that eerily reminds me of him -- hand gesture too:

OK...maybe I missed the memo somewhere, but isn't there Rogaine? Isn't there hair transplantation? Hair weaves?
I know they sound awful but...since his hair loss is fairly minimal (for now), I think he should go for it.
And it's shallow but here's my view of the situation...nothing, but nothing, takes away from the talent. And, his drool-worthiness is still up there with all the rest. BUT, as an aging fan, seeing my own wrinkles/graying hair, etc. doesn't cause me as much angst as seeing my "young and beautiful" idols begin to let their age show when there is something they can do about it (SHORT of major surgery, botox and collagen).
Lindsey is an odd case because, as has been pointed out, he watches his weight like a hawk, has his own style, etc. And, I've never felt that he is anything less than totally vain about his looks (and rightfully so). But, he ocassionally does this...reverse fake-out...where he seems to embrace the drunken sailor in himself (ala the promo photos for Gift of Screws). I don't want him to be embracing the "Mick and John natural look" for himself when there are options.
But, I'll still be in the front row (hopefully) shrieking my ancient head off even if he does begin to resemble my older uncle who just stuck his finger in a light socket.

I would say he probably has been taking rogaine all along and that's how his strands made it this far.

As far as weaves, I think you have to have hair to attach them to. It would be easier to cover the hair in back than it is the forehead. I don't know how transplants work. I do think that people like Jon Hamm are wearing hair enhancements and it works for them, but when Lindsey is on stage sweating like profusely and running all over the place 3 times a week, it might not be an option.

If hair maintenance only took a few minutes a day, that would be worth it. But if it takes up more of his time, I'd say let nature have its course. The time he would spend trying to keep his hair in order is probably better spent on his music.

You know what surprises me is that his hair has been thinning in front for years, but it seems to have gone at an accelerated pace since the Unleashed tour ended. He seemingly lost more hair in front in that time span than he'd lost in 10 years combined. Michele

Not if he's reading this thread and its micro-examination of his hair loss.

Thank goodness his ego is big enough to handle all this - hope so anyway, don't want us to be responsible for any angst!

Lindsey, I love you unconditionally.

Default back to the hair

if you look at the link below it will take you to the HQ pic of lindsey, ken caillat, etc, where you can actually see every hair on lindsey's head. he doesn't look bad there, although i can't quite figure out what's going on with the hair...

I met Warren and Annette on 1/14/11. He was annoyed by me and really enjoying the chicken dinner. She was regal and brilliant and also annoyed by me. lol. Anyway, before I loved Lindsey, I loved Warren. So it was a big moment. He's still handsome. But he's no longer my hero--and I was annoying.

That's how it works. For years, I had an obviously, but slowly receding hairline with little discernable change--and then one morning I woke up and *poof* it was gone.

And I was only 29.
