I cannot believe that with all of the SN fans on this site, there are only about 42 community reviews to the Rolling Stone review of the "Secret Love" single. Come on people, if you have not posted a comment on the Rolling Stone site, please do. This is a key music site and the type of feedback the magazine uses as a barometer for future magazine features.

Your so right!! I wrote my review the day it was posted. If we get enough people to post reviews (also remember to give it some shining stars) and hit the "Secret Love" YouTube link - which by the way has not been removed by WB It will be very good word of mouth for Stevie's new album. Believe me Warners and Rolling Stone are paying attention. If RS finds that people are still interested enough in what Stevie has to record these days, they just might do a cover feature, and not just a blurb or half page Q & A in the magazine

The more positive reviews and hits the better. This is partly how the music business works nowadays. If it's a sensation on the internet, then radio may even take notice

My favorite reviews on there are a couple apparently from young people who write"I don't know who she is but this song is awesome".I'm hoping that this year that alot of them find out.

Yeh, sorry, that was sloppy writing on my part. I meant they don't sound like Mick's drums, not that the drumming doesn't sound like Mick.

I just hate drum machines, is all.

May I also add that I am obsessed with the way she sings the word 'here' in this song? It's got such a long, floaty aspirant.... Very sexy.

I keep trying to do it myself and end up sounding like Manuel off Fawlty Towers.

Can you imagine an entire show of Stevie banging out her couple of notes on a piano, in her drawn out demo style..?

I might actually enjoy this more than the shows she puts on now.

I say that after this album/tour... and whatever FM does following... Stevie needs to scale it back... intimate settings... Smaller band... More acoustic/folky... That style still suits her.

The production is contemporary but still very faithful to that "Stevie Nicks" style, and Stevie's vocal is everything I could've hoped for. It soars when it needs to soar, it's vulnerable when it needs to be vulnerable. It's simultaneously heartbreaking (in the best possible way) and empowering. Total home-run.
That's what moves me most about this song. Well said Mr. Stew.

Sure it's not perfect, but it's hers, so it's beautiful. She was so nervous too <3 haha.

Seriously? I would KILL for her to do a few shows like this. In all honesty, I think she will as she gets older. Surely, she won't be doing high-kicks at 75?!

Also, I wrote my review for Rolling Stone. God, I hope she gets a cover!

C'mon Ledgies - Stevie song currently has 53 reviews (mostly positive), while Britney Spears new song has 223 (mixed reviews). Let's show Rolling Stone that Stevie Nicks still generates some excitement. I know our excitement is less vigorous than last Thursday BUT we can do better than 53 responses and kick that lame a$$ Britney to the curb while we're at it

Hit the link, rate the song with stars AND leave a sage review

5 Women Who Made this Week
"(...)
the singer
Stevie Nicks - new song

The fans are in extasy! ten years following the release of her last album, Stevie Nicks released this week a new single- Secret Love from her upcoming album named In Your Dreams.

The sound is a little enchanting, very suitable for her unique voice. the first rumours of the new album were found in the modern representation of the town square- Twitter.
Nicks' work partners tweeted from time to time concerning the developing album, and teased the appetite of fans who follow Nicks since she became Fleetwood Mac's singer and tambourine.
so here it is for your consideration, the new Stevie Nicks song."

I would like her doing songs in this style... But could do without her nervously banging on three or four keys for two hours... I say she just brings in a pianist.
