**New Single** - Secret Love
Stevie Nicks, Rock and Roll's reigning queen, will be releasing her highly anticipated new CD “IN: YOUR DREAMS” on May 3, 2011. The new album, her first album of new material in a decade, was co-produced by former Eurythmic Dave Stewart and Glen Ballard. The new album is now available for fans to pre order at stevienicks.warnerreprise.com. Fans who pre-order the CD will receive an instant download of the record's first single, the Nicks’ penned "Secret Love”. The official release date of the single is February 3rd. Nicks is a multi-Grammy Award-winning, multi-platinum, Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee and member of Fleetwood Mac.

Interesting. I've always been a fan of that demo, but it's definitely not one I would have thought might be included on the new CD.

"Nicks is a multi-Grammy Award-winning"
I must have missed these award shows. |
Where is the pre-order? I've tried pre-ordering it and its not avialable on their site.

Secret Love, as in "Come on It's time to go upstairs"?
If so, I've always loved this song and it's cuteness. Could be interesting to hear the new version!! |
Where is that paragraph from? What's the source... Jondalar?

Found it... It's from the Rod Stewart Fan Club site...
Weird that the info is put out there yet it's not yet available. Looks like two separate press releases. |

No, I think the Feb 3rd date is plausible... If you look at Lady GaGa for instance, her new single is coming out in Feb and the album in May... so that makes sense... I think this press release on Rod's site is jumping the gun abit hence the reason it was changed to what we saw on the billboard biz site yesterday.

I think the difference is. GaGa's single will be huge and shoot straight to the top of the charts, so everyone will know she has an album out in May, and eagerly anticipate it.
While Stevie will release her single in February... it probably won't do anything on the charts. BUT. People will hear it, and if it keeps getting played on the radio, by the time May rolls around, more people will be aware of the fact that Stevie has a solo album out than they would have if she released both the single and album in March. So it's a slow burner. While GaGa will shine immediately, Stevie will slowly build up momentum. Or something like that. |
