Freaking Amazing!!!!!!! And I haven't been impressed with one single thing thats been leaked so far, especially Everybody Loves You. But this is everything we were promissed. David Wild hit the nail on the the head with "atmosphere" This songs got it.

When Stevie and the girls get together at about 38 seconds for Teeaaars, it sounds like I'm listening to Tom Petty's "In the heat of the sun" from into the great wide open. And the vocal, I can't see how some could call her delivery bad. These are amazing vocals. He voice actually goes up and down.

One thing I was worried about with this album was that Dave would be featured heavily vocally instead of Lori and Sharon, especially after ELY which was very heavy on Daves voice, so that was exciting to not hear Dave at all on Secret Love. No offense to him, from this song I think he's a great producer, I just didn't want his voice all over the album.

Lastly and most importantly, There is NO similarities between this and Everyday. Even when I just heard the short clip and was less impressed it sill didn't make me think Everyday. Everyday was so bland and generic and had a monatonal delivery. This has layers and again atmosphere and is way more upbeat. AND she wrote breaking the streak of every lead single being not written by Stevie since 1985 (not counting ROF)

I'm in the "not impressed" club.

Some of the things I like, some I don't.
Stevie & the girls sound awesome, but IMO some of the production choices..

For example I don't understand why it was chosen to mantain the bass in the same note through all the song, even at the chorus where the hamony changes (that chorus could have been made more beautiful IMO). That makes the song a bit plain to my ears.

I also think I hear an auto-tune/melodyne effect at 1:31.. I don't understand why, no need to do that to Stevie's voice.

In fact I like the intention, the concept of the production (classic stevie sound a bit more modern/interesting), sounds very good (Chris Lord Alge is the best), but some of the choices dont take the song into a classic to me as I always expect from Stevie.

I'm very interested in listening to the whole album though. I have faith that I will like most of the songs and it will be a good follow-up to TISL...

S**t. Ok, I stand corrected. I was replying to those who questioned us sharing it here on The Ledge. I am/was sure that nobody here would do this. I thought that sharing it between fans on here would keep it just between us. However, since there are of course non-Ledgies who will have pre-ordered and got the single... out it goes.

The only for this not to happen would have been for WB not to do the pre-order. Oh well. It sucks but, sadly, was inevitable.

I"m still at work so I"ve only listened to the snippet twice but it's already stuck in head. It's got some potential...And the photo is fantastic!

well one would prettymuch have to be an ignoramous to think that releasing a FREE single with preorder would not lead to an underground distribution of sorts. trust, WBR knows this.

I agree. They want it to spread. Stevie may not understand this, but WB marketing does. Let that single burn thru the net.

I have already called that number earlier today, and complained. I still haven't gotten it.
