The only thing that throws a wrench into this is that Stevie has sounded pretty staunch about everyone hearing the album in it's entirety all at once. She said during her "This Is Not A Tour, Tour" that she'd love to play a new song, but she just wanted the world to hear the work as a whole. Says to me she likely won't release a single beforehand. I think Stevie probably realizes she's beyond her hit single days anyway, so I just can't see her releasing one before this album comes out. Hopefully I'm wrong!

I also can't see her releasing one early. I said earlier that she may release it in Feb, but I honestly think she will wait until the album is out. I think with Stevie being her age, a single may catch people's ear, but they need to be able to go out and pick up that album before they forget.

That's absurd. Of course there will be a lead single. There has never been a mainstream album released without any kind of advanced tracks whatsoever. Also, I think Stevie was emphasizing the crappy sound quality of YouTube videos as the reason why she wouldn't perform any new songs. She never said she would never release advanced singles!

Nobody said there wouldn't be a lead single, we just said she may not release the single until the album drops.

Don't say this ... she just has to do one or two...! Surely they've learned their lesson from the disasters that were the SYW "videos".

I hope you're right; I don't think Dave has any desire to let this album languish unreleased any longer than is necessary.

Well considering Dave Stewart has unveiled a performance video for his song w. Colbie Caillat in "Bullet Proof Vest" from his upcoming CD (which he has hinted will be released in tandem with Stevie's around March 2011), As well as Dave recently tweeting on Oct.22 that they were "Filming at Stevie Nicks' house today , lot's of documentary footage already now some performance " till 3:00 am the next morning. I think we can expect with some certainty that we will see a Stevie video to coincide with the new record. But my expectations are that it will be a fairly simple performance video on par with Dave's and not the lush big budget vid's we saw in "Everyday" & "Sorcerer", which makes perfect sense in this day and age unless your Lady Gaga or Taylor Swift Besides we have the documentary to look forward to in some format or another.

Is anyone else bothered by the fact that Dave and Stevie are releasing their albums in March, and promotion for Dave's album has really taken off, but we still have no promotion for Stevie's? All we have is a few interviews she did to promote her August tour. Ugh...

Yeah, it makes absolutely no sense to me. Same as Elton John's album already being out. Something just ain't right about this

I think it will be pretty close to that seeing as Dave working with her.. Dave couldn't put Cheaper than Free on the Vinyl cause Warner wouldn't let him release it before March 1st..though I guess it will be on the CD? So I guess everyone's shooting for March 1st...let's hope it happens..

He doesn't mind sharing and getting his stuff out there and all over even if its Youtube stuff..Stevie has made it clear she wants no one to know any of her stuff till it comes out for" real"...she really doesn't want people to have her music for free...I think she's just waiting so that people will pay the actual dollar to hear it..

It doesn't surprise me really, Because Dave is going to need much more advance promotion to get his CD out there and noticed than Stevies. If it weren't for his high profile duet's & buzz about working with Stevie, I think his album would be only getting noticed by some really die-hard Eurythmics & Dave S. purists. I think we will start getting some advance videos and internet promotion from Stevie's record closer to her release.

Stevie has always typically released a song (or 2 in TISL case) 6-4 weeks before her official release date. I recall Reprise set up a TISL Stevie page with Everyday & Planets streaming about early april 2001, and Nicks fix actually streamed a 40 second clip of "Planets" mid-march. I only hope they give the Nicksfix a much needed face-lift with her new release. It's long overdue
