Maybe this documentary will explain why Reese is there. Or maybe Reese is going to be part of these "dreamscapes".

i think its odd only because Reese is like 33 or 34 years old. she is around my age so i guess i just cant think of what her and stevie would have in common since they are so far apart in ages.

Stevie has some connection to Reese's mother Betty Witherspoon. At the Atlanta show last year she dedicated Landslide to her.

I am 34 years old and have many close friends ranging from 19 to 70. Age has nothing to do with anything. Maybe Stevie and Reese like the same music, movies, food, whatever. I'm sure if they do indeed hang out, then they've got some things in common, besides celebrity.

Right - I was at that show and thought Betty was sitting in front of me. Not sure though even after seeing pictures of her, it's 50-50 that it was her.

And, as I mentioned previously in the thread, Stevie dedicated BATB to Betty on her Soundstage cd.

Uggggg! There is nothing I hate more than movie stars who play two different famous people or something like Anthony Hopkins playing the role of Hannibal Lecter and later C.S. Lewis. Can't Hollywood find anyone else?

When did Anthony Hopkins play C.S. Lewis? I can't find anything about that. And what on earth does that have to do with Hannibal Lecter? Hannibal Lecter is a fictitious character who murders and eats people... C.S. Lewis was an actual author who wrote children's fantasy novels...

Hopkins played CS Lewis in Shadowlands which co starred Debra Winger.

I think they meant Charles Dickens and C.S. Lewis, but like most people instantly thought Hannibal Lector when they thought of Anthony Hopkins.

Don't you think you'd have something in common with Stevie? I mean wouldn't you love to hang out with her? (isn't that line in one of her songs? Maybe it's the live version I'm thinking of... ha!)

It would be fun if different people (both actresses and singers) did a series of glamor shops where they were modeled after Stevie in some of her classic poses. It could be a Vanity Fair spread or something. I just saw some pictures of Katie Holmes "as" Jackie O and they were pretty impressive.

Perhaps a taste of things to come?

I have to admit that despite the corny lyrics, I kinda dig this song! Very catchy. And the production is very Dave- strings, acoustic guitars and even some church bell sounds (and a bazouki as well?). And I don't even mind Dave's vocal either; I like it when British singers sing with British accents. Yes, it's a very, very big, commercial/contemporary sound, but I am interested to see Stevie attempting this kind of song. No, I don't want 14 songs like this, but it would definitely be new and different for one or two songs.
