if she's a big girl & can handle her alcohol & drugs as she'd have us believe, then take responsibility like a big girl when you get caught~
I agree, which is why I said twice that she deserves to be sentenced for the DUI. I really don't understand why she doesn't just get a driver. I would.

The lying about drug related offenses doesn't bother me, though. It's a stupid law. Sure, she countered it with equally stupid lies, but why quiety comply with idiot policy if you think you have a shot at getting out of it? Owning your actions if you've committed a crime like theft is one thing. It shows integrity. Owning your actions when you've committed a crime that shouldn't be called such? Eh.

^ i disagree. everyone is aware that drug use is illegal, even if it is a stupid law. when you engage in illegal behavior, you have to be willing to face the consequences, even if you think it's stupid & that you could get out of it.

I'm not saying she shouldn't do the time as the law stands now, though. Just that her lies aren't...upsetting to my intrinsic values. I understand where you're coming from that even if you engage in civil disobedience, you should understand and accept how it might end. I admire people who believe that. I just don't I hold my own moral code higher than my country's. If I don't believe I deserve punishment for what I've done, I'm going to do my best to avoid that punishment.

nope, sorry. season 6 just had that perfect mix of classy and modern, whereas season 5 hair was just a little bit too stiff for me. of course they had to butcher that perfect cut in season 7.

yes, this is important.

no, sometimes the season 6 cut is a little too ... straight back.

i like that there's more floof in season 5.

i agree, though, that season 7 was a f*cking travesty.

Thank You, SapphireSister, I'm glad to read that, I'm glad that you think so, and I totally agree.
'Spoiled actress' or not, she really got effed over, by her advisers, her doctors, and her attorney (who I think looked on the verge of laughter).
I still believe LL's constitutional rights have been violated by her twice being forced to wear a Scram bracelet, becoming essentially a poster girl for it, when there has been no documented testing of the device, except for by the manufacturer of Scram, who admit that it does have glitches that need to be worked out.
It's not illegal to drink alcohol. 3 years ago, she should have paid a steep fine, perhaps had her license revoked, and/or been placed in a 28 day sobriety program. Instead, she was set up to fail by a too-long probation and she got sicker, though she's been under medical care for a long time.
90 days jail time* plus 90 days in rehab immediately after serving her sentence means that she is all but locked up until next year. She just turned 24 years old, and the thought of what she faces in the next six months is scary, not only the confinement, but the detox and withdrawals are awful. * I agree she will only serve a fraction of the 90 days in jail, but I still think it's all so wrong.
I think a good lawyer would and could have an order for that SCRAM bracelet to be off of her tomorrow, and use the time she was forced to wear it (twice) as time where her personal freedom and or constitutional rights were denied her, and it should be applied to her upcoming jail sentence, negating it.
The judge made a name for herself in this case, yet it's tough because she also could have made a name for herself as someone who was bought off and/or smitten with celebrity. What has happened is that justice has not been served and the young woman is in more danger now than ever. Her state of mind (this is an ill person) and concept of time (6 months seems like 6 years at that age) makes this, to me, a really sad case of 'celebrity' actually being used against a person who is not a hardened criminal, but a struggling and vulnerable young girl.

no, you see, that was the problem with season 5 hair, it was the same, every time, all the time. in season 6 she would sometimes wear it a little straighter, sometimes tucked behind her ears, sometimes there were even a few curly parts...

can't beat that. but hey, to each their own.
