Uh fill me in and I don't mean to sound ignorant but who the heck is Florence Welsh? Is she well, Welsh?

Can someone post the videos for Howl and Drumming Song? I'm at work and youtube is blocked, but I think those two are the most accessible for new fans!

Also, if you watch the USA network at all, they're using Dog Days Are Over in one of their advertisements. I have no idea what the ad is for, though, because I watch USA at night when I'm falling asleep and only open my eyes when I hear the dulcet tones of Chris Meloni on Law and Order: SVU.

Welch, sorry. Thanks for posting these. I'm really enjoying her, especially the fiery red hair and rolling around on the ground in the black leotard thing.

She's the best thing to happen to music since 1989 I swear to god.

Howl doesn't have an official video but it's definitely my favourite off Lungs.

You should hear it live. My GOD. With a whole string section and 2 harpists right in front of you talk about mind blowing!

Florence programmed the Australian music show Rage a few months back and chose a couple of Mac songs. She spoke of her love for Stevie on that occasion.

Florence just seems like a Stevie Nicks wannabe to me.
I'm not discounting her voice or anything because I do think she is great, but yeah, it just seems a bit like she's trying to *be* Stevie.

Isn't it a bit too much? I don't think so, anyway. If she hadn't her own style, i wouldn't like her. I don't see any kind of connection, and in that case, every female vocalist is a Stevie wannabe

LOLno.

Anyway, here's Florence + The Machine's performance of Heavy In Your Arms and The Chain. I'm currently ripping the audio.

Wow, that was seriously pretty awesome. Her manic dancing in the end threw me off a bit but hey, as long as she's getting into it.
