The guy who asked about "his" album meant the one he's been working on with Stevie. If you look back in the guys history, he's only been asking about Stevie. I don't think it really matters either way, it's just refreshing to see Stevie working on a project with someone like Dave.

we all know "the guy" was asking about Stevie's alleged album, but how does Dave Stewart know that he meant a Stevie Nicks album and not a Dave Stewart album? "Your album" could mean either. I'm not trying to be overly argumentative here; I'm just trying to point out the very large grey area that surrounds all of this and that there's a tremendous amount of assuming taking place regarding if and when Stevie will be releasing a solo album. No one has confirmed this yet. The fact that Stevie is writing and recording songs is a wonderful thing, but it doesn't guarantee a release.

You're totally right. I do hope Stevie gives an interview about this upcoming show in August and mentions what she's been up to with Dave. Then we'll be able to hear it right from the horse's mouth!

Sweet you got a response! Thanks for the update. Not that I'm getting my hopes up but it sounds as though the project is alive and well. Go Stevie, go Stevie...

On The Destiny Rules Facebook page the producer of this documentary ,Matt Baumann says Stevie has a solo album coming out this summer.

"I believe Stevie has a solo album coming out this summer, perhaps I'll recognize some track of that that was slated for SYW."

God, I hope that's true. This is so very unlike her to not have marketing in the pipeline well before an album release. Is Stevie still under contract at Warner's? I think Soundstage fulfilled her obligation, right? I guess that's what Dave Stewart might have meant with the whole "making an album in a new way" comment. It'd sure explain an awful lot.

Maybe she's going indie this time around or she is making her own record label
