I've always wondered what she's worth. She's never mentioned in the lists of richest rock stars, most successful female stars, etc.

I imagine her as being more likely to trust her accountants and advisors to track her investments, rather than doing it herself. She probably thinks Dow Jones is a nice guy she met that time in Portland.

Think about this. Courtney Love got 50 million dollars just for Kurt Cobain's catalog from Nirvana. He was only 1/4 the band I think. Fleetwood Mac has put out a lot more music them. Then there is Stevie's solo career. She gets royalties everytime her songs are played. She got paid 7 million dollars for one song—Landslide. I think when someone covers one of her songs she gets paid. Then there is all the touring she does with or without Fleetwood Mac. I'm estimating that if she had saved everything up, she would be worth about 500 to 600 million dollars.

Think about this. How much coke did go up her nose? How much does she spend? We know she has always liked to live large.

I would bet that right now she worth about 150 to 250 million dollars. If not, you can thank the coke and those pianos she put in her hotel rooms.

I doubt it. I'm sure her Dad taught her well about business and also watching Mick's fortune go down the toilet TWICE makes her keep a close eye. Plus, the IRS audit was probably totally embarrassing for her. Her contemporary, Billy Joel, lost something like 65 million to his accountant in the 80's. That was a HUGE wake up call to all big-time singer songwriters who were enjoying the fast lane.

I'm sure it's hard work watching >50 million bucks (like I know). on top of that, she's very shrewd. She was quite clever in cleaving from Fleetwood Mac for solo work in such a way that Mick never saw a dime directly from the success of Belladonna, etc..and you KNOW he wanted a piece of that action. Probably stings him a bit to this day.

Regardless, she keeps busy.

Mama's got high overhead, so I can't possibly see her as being super mega-wealthy. Wealthier than I will ever be in 10 lifetimes? Certainly! But not 9-figure wealthy. She's got maids, gardeners, pool boy, assistant and an array of agents, managers, publicists, lawyers, publishers, accountants, etc. And who knows what kind of financial arrangements she has with Lori, Chris and Sharon (are they on her payroll full time?) Even though she makes, say, $150K per show, she realistically takes home a fraction of that, perhaps $50K, after taxes, commissions, fees, etc. are factored in. While Rumours was a mega-hit album, most of the units sold were in LP (cheap) format and royalties had to be split amongst the rest of the band. And the cruel reality is that she has not had a platinum-selling hit album in 20 years (Timespace). Yes, if she scaled way back, she could definitely retire very comfortably. But given the shaky performance of Wall Street and her large lifestyle, she probably needs to keep working in order to keep the principal intact. All in, she's probably worth somewhere in the vicinity of $30 million, give or take.

I don't know where they get their figures but this site http://www.celebritynetworth.com says Stevie is worth about $40 million.

Stevie has said many times over the years that Don Henley taught her how to spend money.

Oh, come now. This is a woman who has admitted more than once that she can't find the PLAY or the REWIND button on her VCR. Her dad no more taught her well about business than Christine McVie taught her well about playing the Hammond B3.

The idea that she herself monitors her mutual funds (& makes adjustments) is ridiculous! She hires business managers to take care of all that! There was even a photo of one of them, Gerri Leonard, in her old tour book.

Default A day in the life of Stevie Nicks

1. Wake up and spend 20 minutes on the vibrating thing.
2. Have a tall two shot venti skinny soy latte' and have some shredded wheat (to keep regular) and a half a grapefruit.
3. Draw a hot bubble bath with candles and put on some Motown.
4. Put her hair in the giant curler things
5. apply her foundation, pancake and eye makeup, lipstick etc...
6. Put on some clothes
7. Walk the dog
8. Call Sharon and blab while watching Regis and Kelly and the Today show.
9. Drive to the spa to get a mani-pedi/facial/massage
10. Hit the mall and shopping plaza
11. Check out the Music store CD selections and buy all the Street Angle CDs to keep other people from buying them because she is ashamed of it.
12. Move all the Lindsey Buckingham CDs to the Opera section so nobody can find them.
13. Hit the food court for a Hot Dog on a Stick, Chick-fil-a and maybe an Orange Julius.
14. Call Her Mom to see how things are.
15. Come home, sit by the pool and write in her journal
16. Call some random record execs, producers and some other people to let them know she is still alive and kicking
17. Watch Ellen and the afternoon repeat of Oprah while doodling in her notebook
18. Walk the dog
19. Call Sharon and blab about their day
20. Think about what to eat for dinner, Chinese? Italian? Steak house? Small Children?
21. Decides on Steak house, again.
22. Eats Dinner
23. Comes home, plays piano a while
24. Takes off makeup and slips into frumpy Mom-style pjs and bunny slippers
25. applies about 5lbs of blue colored facial creme and spends 20 minutes rubbing it all into every pore
26. wipes of the blue stuff and rubs in some other night cream.
27. lays in bed and flips back and forth between Leno and ex-husband Letterman
28. Watches the news
29. lights out.

Yeah, if she had that much I don't think she would have been so giddy about the "Landslide" money.

I wonder how much she made just from this season of American Idol. "Dreams", "Landslide", and "Rhiannon" (x 2) were all performed.
