A Girl Called Eddy. She's kind of a mix of Karen Carpeter, Aimee Mann, KD Lang, Chrissie Hynde, and a half dozen others! Damn good, very sophisticated pop music.

Louie, you have jusnamed several of my favourite artsis. Karen has my favourite female voise of ALL TIME. I have all the Catrpenters stuff and also her solo album. Amazing.

This woman really must be something if she comines Jaren, kd and Aimee. Love Aimee...

Donna Lewis: In The Pink. Pandora radio played a song from this album, and I was blinking going THAT'S Donna Lewis?? What a great little album... reminds me a lot of Madonna's Ray Of Light. Very trancey... with some folksy and pop music thrown in... but with a strong electronic undercurrent. The album opener 'Ireland" is very, VERY Stevie. Darn good little album!

You'll fall in love with the album, everyone I've played it for has! Not sure if you're heard of www.grooveshark.com but you can stream most any song/album you can think of for 100% free. Look up this little band... they're just great!
