In honor of the fact that I just remembered I have to do my taxes, like, soon, I bring you Dethklok's "Dethharmonic."
This song always cracks me up. Well, the whole album does, but I like this one at tax time. Here are the lyrics, for anyone that has trouble with Cookie Monster-ish vox. I think "Nathan Explosion's" vox are a lot clearer than most of the bands I listen to, since the songs are for a TV show and it's not funny if you can't understand it clearly, but still. I want to keep my money and give away absolutely nothing to the government that moderates my spending or obliterates depending on the time of year. Brutality is near, in the form of income tax. I'd rather take a f*cking axe to my face. Blow up this place with you all in it. I'd do it in a minute. If I could write off your murder, I'd save all of my receipts, because I'd rather you be dead than lose a tiny shred of what I made this fiscal year. I'd rather you be dead than consider parting with my second home. I'd rather you be dead than consider not opening a restaurant. I'd rather you be dead. Prepare the laser beam. I'm gonna use it tonight. Engage the laser beam. It's gonna end your life. And bonus track! This is what I have my BlackBerry set to use for an alarm to wake me up in the morning. The infamous "Duncan Hills Coffee Jingle" from the first season of Metalocalypse. DO YOU FOLKS LIKE COFFEE? REAL COFFEE? FROM THE HILLS OF COLUMBIA? Oh man, I love those guys.

A couple of weeks ago I went to see a Led Zeppelin tribute band in concert....they were great!!
Now, since then, I can't get enough of listening to the REAL Led Zeppelin...collectively or individually. Both the How The West Was Won and the recently expanded/remastered The Song Remains The Same live albums have been in heavy rotation on my iPod....as well as Robert Plant's Face Of Nations solo album (especially the song "29 Palms") and Jimmy Page's Outrider album....as well as their Unledded set, too. I do now see the need to upgrade a couple of my LZ CD collection to the recent remastered versions. YIKES! In Through The Out Door and Physical Grafitti sound awful compared to the ones that were remastered.
