Considering that Gaga is only 23 years old, I have to give her mad props about the sheer audacity of this video. And the cultural references here are so on point- "Thelma & Louise," "Faster Pussycat Kill Kill," Bettie Page, Quentin Tarantino, etc. Really, how many people from her generation really understand irony and camp like that? There's so much to love about this video- drag queens, Prison for Bitches, the Pussy Wagon, the telephone head pieces, the butch dykes, the sunglasses made of lit cigarettes, etc. It's just so chock full of trashy goodness... I'm just overcome.

Exactly! It's kinda like an homage to the '70s and '80s exploitation films.

it's an amazing video. it's no Bad Romance, but it's tongue in cheek pop art fantastical. she is just perfect imo. I can't NOT smile and enjoy and laugh and dance with everything she does.

I noticed a sloppy edit job on the video - after they cut from the court yard scene when all the "ladies" are in that one big cell, there is a shot of Gaga standing by the bars with no sun glasses on (2:30) then when they cut to her at 2:32 she has them on.

Pretty sure this video is a continuation of "Paparazzi" since at the end of that video she goes to jail and in this one she's in jail and breaks out.

Lady Gaga looks a lot like Madonna in the part w/ the coke cans in her hair(which is so cool) lol. Lady Gaga is so different and controversal and I love it. Plus, her songs are pretty awesome lol

MTV already banned the music video

Yep! I can't think of one song from TFM that I don't like. I guess I'm not crazy about Teeth or Dance In The Dark, but I don't skip over them. I'm in love with Speechless right now. And yes... Telephone.

My sister told me that Madonna is actually in the video which made me search for her...
