Yet I think it's one of the best songs she's ever written. I was living in Phoenix when this song was released and she talks about our favorite mountain (Camelback) and the beautiful section she lived in(Paradise Valley). Therefore the song was more meaningful to me I guess.

This thread has some really surprising songs. The Highwayman, Kick It, and Beauty and the Beast are three of my very favorites! I can kind of get people not liking Kick It, but the other two seem like such quintessential Stevie songs.
Anyway, if we are sticking to songs Stevie wrote or co-wrote... The Nightmare Silver Girl Sister Honey Whole Lotta Trouble Gretta/Docklands/Listen to the Rain/Unconditional Love/Love is Like a River/Maybe Love (I know, sorry, but I think of all of those tracks as one song that I just can't listen to). If we add songs she didn't write... her cover of Free Fallin' is just awful and that song by Sheryl Crow from the Boys on the Side soundtrack was also terrible Sorry Stevie! |

LiLaR is one of her kick ass ROCK songs ![]() SA and TOSOTM are my favorite albums... i don't like ALL the songs on them, but theyre the 2 albums that i can listen to the most amount of songs without fast forwarding through everything ![]() it's so weird how different everyone's taste is but we all love Stevie *sigh* good topic, albeit the fact it's causing my heart pain

I have issues with The Other Side of the Mirror, yes. I think its my least favorite of all of her albums. You lose Stevie under suffocating layers of all things 80s.

I agree! I like Sable on Blonde. I can't comment on 24k because I don't even remember what it sounds like, just that Stevie told Lindsey to shut up during one of the recording sessions for it.

There are a few mentionable tracks as everyone has said.. But as was also said they all have their moments but none are worth hating... ALso BATB is self indulgant buut also the circumstance and meaning behind that song. the storys that Stevie tells in her songs such as BATB.

I would buy it. I rather enjoyed several tracks on this record, much more so than say, Trouble in Shangri-La. And if you love that album you'll certainly appreciate SA more, hopefully. NEVER listen to the critics. Form your own opinions first. Be a leader not a follower. Unless you're a follower of Stevie Nicks, well then that's alright my friend.

Personally I only like 4 songs from it, but there are many fans that would tell you it's the best album she's ever done. We all have different tastes in music and that is a good thing. Can you name some songs by Stevie that you really love that were never singles?
