Goodness, these fan videos are starting to look better than our official FM DVDs. Thanks to everyone who tapes them and to people like Niki who post the links.

The quality makes it difficult but this is what I heard:

Stevie: "Uh, you over there and you uh...you in second class..." [points at Carol] "...and you in first class." [points and motions at Lindsey and the seat for him to sit in]

Carol: "Really?"

Stevie: "Really."

Voice 1: "Be kind."

Voice 2: "She's not trash."

Oh, I've haven't seen it in a while, but I thought I heard her telling Carol she could sit in first and then she hesitated when she got to Lindsey. I thought she was like, "first, first, ah . . . wait, I'm not sure about you." Something along those lines.

I believe it could go either way. I have this dvd and it's hard to really tell, but she could have said it to Carol (the way she painted her relationship with SN it kinda makes sense), but then it could have been Lindsey as well, since he was acting like a cocky little mofo, sucking face with and shoving into everyone's peripheral vision the pure loveliness that was his and Carol Ann's PDA-obsessed love affair. (sarcasm) (Like the overzealous pushing-against-the-wall-dry-hump thing he did at one point with no warning. *gag* Lindsey... )

I've wondered if Stevie is bothered by Lindsey's antics during her song. Personally, I love to see him showing off, but it does seem as if he is trying to steal some of Stevie's limelight.

I'll have to try to listen for that! Ha. It seemed so funny to me that Lindsey didn't say a word, but went ahead and sat in the seat Stevie pointed him to, never even attempting a dispute with her about her order barking.

Is there more to this segment? I've never seen the whole thing.

Is it displayed on the side monitors? I never get to see those.

Just looking at the stage, to me, Lindsey stays in such a small corner of the stage that I don't think most people even see him. Only the ones over to his side. And the way the lighting is, I don't think people notice him over there. Of course, I do because I'm looking, just like I'm usually looking at him during Mick's World Turning solo.

For LIB, when they put the camera directly on him several times, it's obvious what he's doing But during the show, it seems to me that his movements and mouthing are not even apparent to much of the audience.

For Stand Back, I thought he was much more distracting during the Dance tour. But he changed it for SYW and seems very low profile to me. Also, during the SYW tour, I thought it was distracting the way he was monkey dancing (after Tusk) before SB started, but he stopped that now.

I don't remember much more to the segment. I always did wonder why Lindsey sat right there, when I would have sat as far away from Stevie as possible. I couldn't figure out if maybe their seats were already assigned and Stevie knew he was going to sit there anyway or what was going on. It didn't occur to me that he was just obeying. Michele

LOL! Exactly! I mean, he looked fairly po'd about it, but he sure sat his butt right down there. (I can't help but love that...)

In the version posted earlier in the thread, Stevie looked fine with his antics to me, even smiling in his direction once. Now, on LIB, has anyone else noticed how ticked she looked at the end of it?! She said, "Thank you" and that smiled just vanished into a frown immediately as she walked off - and it was more of a mad look if you ask me...

I've read SYW reviews where the 'monkey dance' was mentioned, Michele. Sounds hysterical. One review did say the kids were on LB's side of the stage and he was doing it with them and Stevie was pointing it out to Cory and Karen or someone else on her side of the stage, and laughing, getting a big kick out of it. So, it probably just depends on what kind of mood she's in...

At the show in Nashville, I found his mouthing of the long note of "take...me home" extremely amusing. There's just something undeniably entertaining about Lindsey Buckingham lip synching a Stevie Nicks song. Now, if we could only get him in chiffon...

Oh, it would have been great to see her when she gets a kick out of it. When I saw them, she would be looking at him during the monkey dance, but she wasn't smiling.

I think it's pretty funny and kind of sexy when he's saying "take me" and sometimes he points to himself too. He also likes to do the part about needing sympathy. Just think of the different Stevie songs he could pantomine for us, if he had a notion. Michele

Haha! I love it when he does the sympathy line too. It's great fun!

Oh, to see his "rendition" of Edge or BATB... now, that would be HIGH drama...
