LOVEHANDLES SUCK

I should not have them as a 16 year old girl.
But I do.
Hence why 29/30s don't want to fit me.

I hate my wideish hips too.
So don't feel bad everyone, we all have our 'problem areas'

Fleetwood Mac helped me through a time of heartbreak. 12 years later, they broke my heart.

I'm 5' 3". I just weighed myself on Wednesday morning, & I weighed 106.8 pounds. Don't hate on me, Oprah. I've never really had a weight problem.

I aint telling my weight under any circumstances but the "impossible to miss" comment made me laugh. I am going to the Mohegan Sun Concert with someone I have never met, but who's nickname is "Morris the Fat". Lord knows I'm no one to talk, but I imagine he/we will be hard to miss. I do feel sorry for the people in the seats near us, he asked me to get aisle seats but I couldnt find one within reasonable distance of the stage so I advised him to start dieting immediately.

I've lost about 50 lbs since around this time 2006. I think I'm around 165 n0w. I was very, very unhappy back then and would just stuff my pie-hole with all the wrong stuff (donuts, cakes, pie, bottles of Coca-Cola) etc. Horrendous. Oh, and never exercise either.
I decided to try to take control, and I think I did a good job so far.
I cut back on sweets and fat dramatically, only eating them as occasional treats. I eat loads of fiber, fruits and veggies. Plus, I do TONS of walking for exercise. True, I probably should do some weight-bearing exercise too, or get my heart rate up higher. But, it seems to be working and I feel great.
I actually had to be worked up at a cardiologist at one point: I used to get chest pains from climbing stairs and other exertion. Arteries are clear based on a catheterization they did, and he said "try to lose some weight".

p.s, I'm around 5' 10"

Congratulations, J.!

I'm trying to lose weight, but I keep gaining it. I lift weights twice a week & do cardio the other days. The more muscular I get, the heavier I get. But there's a spring in my step, a lithe bounce & boing! I'm a lot like Tigger now.

My pledge is that by Feb. 15, 2009 I'll lose ten pounds from my

If this thread is still around one of you should ask if I lived up to it.

With that being said, I just ate 5 tacos.

Well it took longer than I wanted, but I've lost 14 lbs.
And what's weird is that I ate 4 tacos tonight.

I'm 180 - and would like to be 170 I think.... When I was running I was lean, lean, lean, and a little lighter then 170. I'd like to get back to that.... I've been thinking about getting back to the running, oh for about the last year! Nothings happened yet

Currently at 174 lbs. I have wide hips too, for a guy. Which has always bothered me.
