Thanks!

Thumbs up

Hi Dean : Welcome to the Ledge .....I don't mind the ED video....Its a great video but its not my favorite song of Stevies either. I like the peach dress also but I always thought it looked pink to me not peach. Its better than Stevie always wearing black. That gets boring after awhile....I'd love a book as well....I've seen them on ebay but they are pricey. So if its high I guess I'll have to pass on it......Although it would be cool to have. Thanks for sharing the info.....enjoy The Ledge.....its great here!!!!!

I wrote the nuts and bolts of it and fine tuned it sitting with her over a couple days. The banquet scene was totally inspired from Great Expectations.

Thanks

D.

Hi Dean,

Can you share how you were selected to direct the video for "Every Day"? Stevie is on record saying how much she's loved the song "Crash Into Me" (which, as others have already pointed out, she recently covered). Do you know if this influenced the decision to have you involved with the video? The two videos are more than a little similar to each other.

Well, I guess we're in the minority but I thought she looked awesome in it.

The glossy one has more contrast than the matte, so a matter of taste per collector. Each signed edition consists of only 25 prints and 5 artist proofs. The prints are very large (20x24 inches) and when framed will make a huge statement on anyone's wall, as well as be the envy of any Stevie fan who might come to your house. I also have signed proof sheets of two different peach dress (the infamous peach dress) proof sheets. We're glad that Dean Karr has joined us on The Ledge and have very much enjoyed hearing about the making of the Everyday video.

We have received queries from a couple of Ledgies asking about the propriety of offering pictures and books for sale. While our guidelines do generally prohibit "Advertising or any form of commercial solicitation for sale products, services or other websites," we consider this case to be an exception.

Mr. Karr worked directly with Stevie Nicks and was the video's creator. He is not offering a derivative product, but collectible items from the original source. Even for those who cannot purchase his books and pictures, we think Mr. Karr's presence has benefitted the discussion here and provided us with firsthand insight into a band member's work.

Obviously, we want to avoid spam, but in the limited circumstance where someone has worked directly with the band or one of its members, we appreciate having them come here and share their band stories and recollections and also think it's appropriate to let them announce or offer any unique items they may have available.

Luke, is it necessary to be so nasty? Here is the link for The original DMB posting...what was the point in posting another's forum's bitchabout it? Some people, fans for various artists Dean has directoed videos for, are interested in perhaps prints and discussion about the shoots themselves. Obviously, you're not, but why try to drag everyone else down? Your post is ridic, unwelcoming and rude...IN MY OPINION.
