"Everyday" is a beautiful video right down the line, from the production, to the abstract imagery. And Stevie looks down right gorgeous in it!! By far her best video, in my opinion since "Gypsy".
Kudo's to Dean for re-capturing the mystique of Stevie in all her glory!

Regarding some of the imagery, I can't help but wonder whether you drew inspiration from Carly Simon's "Boys in the Trees," especially the part where the boys are, um, up in the trees. I have been trying to find the hidden meaning behind the big feast, the rodent invasion of said feast and the subsequent dozing off (or death?) of the guests of said feast. Well... even if there is no real meaning to any of this, the imagery is still breathtaking and surreal.

Also, I love the B&W shot you chose for the cover of the book. Can this be purchased as a large-scale piece?
That black and white also comes in a color version, I will post those later or tomorrow. They are both editions of 25, with 5 artist proofs and available either through my gallery in Maui or directly from me. Probably cheaper through me....they are massive prints (20x24) $600 + $15 insured Priority Mail. I could also email you a small jpeg.

Even though there is no wedding cake or anything on the table it always reminds me of Great Expectations. The peach dress always struck me as an unusual choice, but now I see it wasn't what had originally been intended. It reminds me of a bridesmaid's dress gone awry. But - Stevie Nicks seems to be able to pull anything off, even that.
Bravo!!! You just figured out the puzzle!!! The entire banquet scene was 100% inspired from GREAT EXPECTATIONS!!!!!

Nice one -DK

I just checked out your site Dean:

You made the Marilyn Manson video for Sweet Dreams?

Dude that's a classic!

I don't see Stevie's Everyday video on your site though.

Dean, have you heard Stevie's version of "Crash into Me" yet from her upcoming CD? I'd love to know what you think of her version.

The Everyday video is PERFECTION. It ALWAYS wins here on the ledge when all us fans take a poll to rate our favorite video from her solo career. I used to live in Australia and there used to be black swans that lived in a pond across the street from my house. I miss seeing them. When i saw the video it was really heartwarming to see my all-time favorite artist and black swans!!! (a random paring i never thought id see!)
Awhile ago i had purchased some of the "everyday proofs" that are Stevie in that infamous peach dress in "the forest" that are beautiful, do you sell larger reproductions of those? Again, i want to tell you that I LOVE the song Everyday, and your video and concept made it even better! (also, i hear ur a Rush fan, so that alone means u rock!)

Another one here that LOVES the peach dress! Welcome Dean (great name by the way, it's my son's name ). I also love the video, although I'm not a big fan of the song. The video visually, is stunningly beautiful. Great job!

Hey Dean...and welcome! Like everyone else here, I love love love the video-and although Stevie didn't write Everyday I thought it was very prettty and should have been at least a big adult contemporary hit-especially with such a great video. I too am very interested in the book and any details you feel compelled to share about working with Stevie. Thanks again....Ricoh.

That first one is so gorgeous ... is there any way you could make smaller prints or photo prints available for people that can't afford to spend $600?

Signed 9.25x11 inch proof sheets of either $65 + $7 priority mail

Just a question - Are these signed by Stevie, or yourself?

Dean, have you spoken with Chris Nicks...?
