I was on the side of the girls, so I was watching them occasionally. Lori Nicks is a lot of fun. This is the second time I got Lori love. I was pointing and singing at her during Tusk of all songs and she did it right back with a huge smile! LOL

She is obviously loving being back!

Yes, I don't think John is bored. He's actually listening to what his fellow bandmembers are doing, so that he can respond. He is not only paying attention to Mick, but Brett too. I was watching him during Stand Back and he was way alert and intense, modifying his playing to what everyone else was doing.

Did she talk about how her and Lindsey got so rich so fast that she would put her mattress on the floor so that she could pretend that she was poor again? That was an uncomfortable moment with the crowd She also said that she lie's awake in bed at night thinking about how she could add to this story each night. Stevie, you might want to drop that part

Man, I could make a list for her of other things she should lie awake thinking about!

Last night during Gold Dust Woman, he and Stevie had a cute thing where she was pretending to cast a spell on him and he kinda would move back like he was being hexed like Mick did in the Destiny Rules documentary. . .

Fleetwood Mac helped me through a time of heartbreak. 12 years later, they broke my heart.

I forgot about that - that was pretty ridiculous. I laughed/guffawed/snorted pretty loud. Wonder if she heard me.

The mattress on the floor thing, last night, made no mention of Lindsey or poverty.

She said (and I'm SO paraphrasing since I'm both at work and pretty much running on empty from lack of sleep) that sleeping on a mattress, close to the floor, is a comfort to her. And then she went (VERY smoothly, I thought)...into reciting the lyrics to Gypsy..."back to the floor, that I love, in a room with some lace, some paper flowers..."

I guess those sleepless nights paid off because I thought it was a nice intro.

And I also thoroughly remembered why I loved Silver Springs so much. It was sooooo good last night.

I'll dump the John McVie counter-argument since it's just perception and I haven't changed my mind;-)

I sure heard ya I sensed slightly, that she may have realized after she said it that it didn't sound good

I think John's John He's the same John he's been for years. I think that the antic John (if there ever really was one) was the booze & coke years.

They were incredeible!! I went with my boyfriend who has never seen them live and he was of the mind that they were a band he liked, he had the Rumours album as a kid but I told him "Wait til you see them live!" He was blown away by the live sound and the audience's reaction to the band. So he will never doubt what I say about music especially my band.... The Mac!

Default thanks for the Stand Back vid..

I was lucky enough to get to go to the stage at the start of I'm So Afraid and was right next to Stevie when she did this song - it really is a great concert track and gets the audience up and standing and cheering. One thing I noted about Stevie is that she would only get so far to the end of the stage - like there was an invisisble electric fence positioned 3 feet from the edge - on the other hand, Lindsey was front and center. I'm So Afraid is my favorite Buckingham song and he played the solo right in front of me - he kicked a wire out of his way that was at the end of the stage - the little things you notice when you are up front. Also, I got a little man crush on him - he was close, pouring his heart into his art, and thought, I can see why the ladies dig him. Of course, his legs are a bit too thin for me and I snapped back to reality when he moved away - but for that brief moment of time, I got it. I don't get why his love during the Fleetwood Mac shows don't translate into bigger audiences at his solo shows. His standing ovation after I'm So Afraid was powerful!

I also want to say something about Storms - where I was standing I couldn't see Mick's face due to the cymbals. But during Storms, he sat at his mini drums that were put in front of his drum seat. As Stevie sang, I could see his face through the silver chain that was draped along Stevie's mic. He mainly had his eyes closed with this peaceful kind of smile on his face while he played. I wished I had a camera to capture this moment - it was poignant. Made Storms, which I adore Live, much more interesting. Wasn't he the "great dark wing within the wings of a storm.."

And, my favorite song "Say You Love Me" was perfect - I thought they sounded great and the audience was digging it and singing along..

I also thought Stevie was having problems with the sound - after Dreams she went directly over to John, said something to him, and he went towards the stairs to get a stage hand.. what Stevie talks, people listen.. :-)
