I'm pleased with what I'm hearing.
FM was already doing IKINW themselves. So, nothing new there. Michele

Default not likely...but a nice setlist I'd like to see

an ultimate FM concert.....I'm going to go in chronological order here just to keep straight in my head, but they can mix it up....but these songs:

Albatross
Green Manalishi (Stevie and Lindsey both)
Hypnotized (Stevie)
Oh Well (Lindsey)
I'm So Afraid
Blue Letter
Over My Head (Stevie)
Gold Dust Woman (perhaps with use of an Organ vs. electric keyboard?)
Never Going Back Again
I Don't Want To Know
You Make Loving Fun (Lindsey)
Sara
Tusk
Storms
I Know I'm Not Wrong
Gypsy
Hold Me (with Sharon Celani support along with Lindsey, this song needs 3 vox)
Straight Back (perhaps with support from Sharon Celani singing Christine's background)
Big Love (full band version)
Go Insane (bull band version)
Little Lies (Stevie....also support from Lindsey and Sharon Celani)

Tango In The Night segue into Come!

encore
Seven Wonders!!!
Monday Morning
Sisters of The Moon

This concert should be a full rock blowout. I know this set is probably not going to happen, and it's even a bit long, but it's my perfect FM setlist.....why oh why do they NEVER play Seven Wonders live. They haven't brought that gem out since it came out in 87.

I love the idea of SOTM as the closing encore.
Everyone would go crazy.
Well, let's keep dreaming.. but keep our fingers crossed.

As much as I like it, I do wish they'd try something else from Tusk. There are other little-known tunes that would work just as well live. That's Enough For Me? What Makes You Think?

Not sure they could pull off The Ledge these days, might be too much. And please God, no Not That Funny.

I really, really doubt it's going to happen but I'm ever hopeful. I think I'd rather have them not do it at all than play it for a few shows and then drop it. That would be downright unbearable!

Hello fellow Ledgies....this is my second post, but I've been a FM fan since the late 70s when I was just a wee boy. I would make one adjustment to my previous setlist, and perhaps drop Little Lies and instead have Stevie Sing "Love In Store". I have heard her sing a piece of it for a make-up dress rehearsal on you tube, and it was beautiful! Plus her background on the original recording was sooo great as well. Just a thought...

ugh, nothing is less funny than "not that funny."

i don't want to hear TEFM or WMYTYTO either, though. i can't deal with most of lindsey's staccato 2/4 tusk songs. they're too OTT frenetic for me. i don't even like the title song (yeah, i said it.).

not that OTT is necessarily bad. i love IKINW because it's OTT bombastic in a live setting. easily one of my top 3 faves from the 06 lindsey tour.

but if they're going to do a lindsey tusk song that isn't IKINW, let it be "walk a thin line."

i just hope that this boring setlist is correct and they don't include SMAP. because, even with 50 backup musicians and singers, they are just not capable of topping this:

Well, as far as I could ever tell, the "point" of playing NOT THAT FUNNY in the old days was to see how much varying texture & interplay & dynamics the four oddball musicians could cram into a song that rallies back & forth between two chords for 7 or 8 minutes so that the thing would rumble, spurt, & finally explode like an ejaculating volcano.

But that's all totally moot in today's Fleetwood Mac, so why bother?

And that interaction is what would make some of the little parts of Tusk so much fun back then too.

I loved that upright piano they used for it.....

After all these years, I'm finally going to see them (wish Christine was there). It will be my first FM concert, and I've loved them since the 70s, so this is a huge experience for me. But if that is the setlist, I will not be happy. If they do not do Rhiannon, I will never get over it. There are several songs on that list I have no interest in, and many others that I really want to hear badly that are not listed. I HATE Tusk. I just hope the list is wrong.

I guess we're all different and have our own personal opinions of what we want to hear, but I think most of us are in agreement on Sisters Of The Moon. It's time for them to do it. Why don't they start listening to their fans? I just don't understand why they wouldn't do SOTM. It would bring the house down.

I'm referring to this setlist:

Someone close to rehearsals (which began last week) has confirmed the band have been working up the following songs:
The Chain
Dreams
Monday Morning
I Know I'm Not Wrong
Gypsy
Second Hand News
Oh Well
Never Going Back Again
Big Love
Landslide
Storms
Beautiful Child
I'm So Afraid
Sara
Go Insane (full band)
Say You Will
Gold Dust Woman
Say You Love Me (full band acoustic)
Tusk
Go Your Own Way
Don't Stop

No, I'm not. Are you? I'm referring to the song "Tusk", not the album (which I love). I don't feel the need to justify what I do and don't like. Bye bye.
