Yes a beautiful early summer night in socal ..my friends had gotten us second row seats for my birthday. Some wild shows they were on that Rock a Little tour. ..yet we already suspected she was nearing the end of the long party.

Yeah she was so loose and spontaneous .The reason she kept singing bits of Landslide is because someone yelled it out as a request..I didn't rush the stage for the Edge walk as I was probably too high myself but my two friends did and she actually spoke to one of them when he gave her a gift.I also recalll the crowd was in such a fervor she had to stop and hold up her hands for them to chill out as they rushed the stage. What a night.

I miss those days... Did you catch all those Jim Ladd interviews at her house.... I would sit on my bed and listen all night long to them and Sharon etc....

By that time I believe she was likely more stoned and drunk than coked up .Her doctor already had given her the warning that her next toot could be her last so she was using it more sparingly and offsetting it with the weed and booze IMO..now when I saw her in '83 on The Wild Heart tour that was pretty much all coke.

Yes! The Chain needs a break! lol I love when they began opening with it back in 1987...but then it remained there for years. It's too predictable and rote now. I liked it as a near-closer during the Rumours tour.

During the Tusk tour it was usually played second to the opener, which was a real kill-joy from the pace set with the opening song, usual Say You Love Me. It was a great version, but they performed it at a dirge-like pace.
