Definitely thrilled about that!
Maybe they looked at the top four from the LB setlist thread? ;)

Great choice! :woohoo:

If I make it to a show, this would be an awesome song to hear!!!

LukeA 01-21-2009 03:34 PM

Lets hope that (unlike '03) they actually mean it this time. It would be a great song to start the show, and save The Chain for later in the show.

Before we start parading in the streets, let us remember the tantalizing morsels she threw out just before her 2005 "Dreams" shows in Vegas. That was a letdown beyond letdowns.

I saw her in Irvine once... she kept starting landslide.. and then she would start laughing. The crowd would go wild, cos she did it like 3 times in between songs. Then she said, "maybe later"... and then never did it!!! I believe it was around summer of 1985 or 86 can't remember...

I was drooling waiting for her to do it... :(
I was really young at the time and really sad afterward that she didn't do it...

This would only work for me if Chris were there and did Dreams or SOTM or GDW.

I have a feeling they will massacre any Christine songs attempted.

It was summer 1986 and it was actually the Pacific Ampitheatre in Costa Mesa .I was there too.She also knocked over her mic that night and when the roadie came on stage to set it back up she she held up her hands as if to cast a spell and said "Ill put a spell on you " and then mumbled "Lindsey would kill me if he heard that" .

Monday Morning? I'll believe it when I hear it. What Stevie promises is never as expected. Perhaps her recall of the song was off ... and actually it is Second Hand News or something.

But if so, I hope the set list offers other songs they haven't done in a long time, and less likely...songs they've never done!

I agree. That song sounds GREAT in the LIVE album, it would be a refreshing start for this tour. I love The Chain but it needs a break.

Oh yeah she was the proverbial four sheets to the wind..but in spite of or maybe because of it she still put on a great show that night ..as bad as I was myself in those years I'm still amazed at how clear my memories from all those shows still are.
