haha yeah I heard that. Whoever picked him needs to be slapped in the face.

Zac Efron is so untalented its not even funny.

To be honest, I hate EVERY single remake movie I've seen, and I am so sick of parody movies [Scary Movie 2 was the last one I even somewhat enjoyed]

ugh Hollywood. And just think, they're putting 2 production companies in MA...go figure.

As for the other Hollywood regurgitated remakes in the list, eh. Most of those films listed originally appealed and were marketed to teens and young adults. It is all about marketing and generally a guaranteed profit from a new generation.

ha! ahaha!
I was in my high school's version of 'High School Musical', so Zac Efron will always have a spot in my heart, but that's just hilarious.

Yeah. Jonathan Demme made such a mess, after watching it, my first impulse was the huge need to close the director in a room for a year with an exorcist. Anyway he redeemed himself with Rachel getting married. Not a masterpiece but quite nice.

About the other remakes, most on the list don't interest me. I can definitely live without a Footlose with Zac Efron (even only the trailer sounds annoying), and I hope Mel Gibson would never realize his dream to remake Fahrenheit 451. He just has to stay away from that movie.

Oh my GOD, Fahrenheit 451 is a terrible movie as it is. It's embarrassing for the people in it, in my opinion. We had to watch it in school after we read the book last year. Lame.
I agree with you, they just need to leave it be. It's unsalvagable.

These remakes have to stop.

Most of them are huge flops!
