Odinga's opponent didn't think that Obama was being so impartial. His spokesperson said "It is very clear that the senator has been used as a puppet to perpetuate opposition politics." link

When he goes to a country and critisizes its government before an election, and does it with a prominent member of an opposing tribe "at Obama's elbow here fairly often", what is that other than support for the opposition? If it is not support, it is something close to it. Odinga even says that they are close and talk often. I am not saying there was nothing bad about the government of Kenya during the time that Obama went there. But it was poor judgement to befriend a coldblooded monster like Raila Odinga, as it was poor judgement to befriend Tony Rezko and William Ayers.

And "poor judgement" is what John McCain was concluded to have displayed in that Keating savings and loan ordeal. That is what the Senate Ethics Committee said after clearing him of violating any rules. So if you think that scandal is worth investigating, then the subjects that I bring up are relevant as well.
