Not even back in July when it seemed the release was just a couple of weeks away.

Plus, there has never been an official announcement from Warner Bros about it. And you can bet there'd be a press release of some sort.

My advice -- if anyone wants it -- is to watch and wait, and not take every one of Amazon's ever-changing release dates to heart. Trust me, we'll all know for sure when it's really coming out.
Thanks SO much! I don't really think any of us are totally "relying" on Amazon's date information, as all they can go by is what they are told by Warner Brothers.. LOLOL.. I do, however value the fact that Amazon, is the place to have the official copy of Soundstage that "most" of us are after!

I wouldn't be so certain that they're even going by that. From what I was told recently by a very reliable source, Stevie's 'Soundstage' has yet to be listed at whvdirect.com (Warner Home Video's business site, which is used by retailers, etc., for information on upcoming releases).

So it's a mystery as to where Amazon is getting their information.

Oh how funny... Well, I'm sure it's from someone that has something to do with Warner Brothers for sure, being that they are the one's in charge of it. It may not be listed yet, but I'm sure someone there has to know about it..

I never even thought to check those other retailers for info... Isn't it odd that nobody but Amazon has this information on their website? I guess that's just more proof that there were no intentions outside of Soundstage to release this... yet.

And yeah, for an "official" release, you would think that her record company would release SOME information... Sometimes they even let it be known the quarter to which it will be released in, even if they haven't hammered out the actual release date...

Anyway... Doesn't much matter, we have the majority of this fantastic show now on DVD except for those two songs not included... I will survive if they never make it to release, and will gladly buy it again if it does one day appear on a dvd...

This is super dumb.

For those of you have it, what are the audio options?
audio is 5.1 suround sound or Stereo in High Definition actually much better than actual broadcast the picture is amazing and sound just wish they put in dreams and beauty and the beast maybe she is just putting the audio cd and adding those two songs in the audio cd instead or she could release another dvd of the same show with those added into it who knows. But she might not of liked the way it came off camera for those songs and decided to scrap them for the dvd.

i am probably wrong but she also is one of the executive producer on the soundstage which is the last of the ending credits so I am sure she had some decision on what songs will go on the dvd I am sure sound stage doesn't care what songs she puts on the dvd it is still stevie's show the soundstage as well I believe so maybe that is why she didnt want the edge walk in there either which i dont know why that is not on the dvd either cause that is also part of the song where she does her meet and greets at the end of the stage which is awesome its I am agreeing with you for to leave out dreams which is a staple in all her concerts especially but don't know why unless she is just releasing the audio part of dreams and beauty and the beast for the cd release of soundstage. Amazon now has changed the release date to December 31, 2008 new years eve is the amazon release date for the dvd and cd.

I am glad I got my copy from pbs site it just doesnt sound like amazon is going to release it the date keeps getting pushed back and back.

I have been a fleetwood mac fan and stevie nicks fan since 1979 and I don't understand that why there is songs cut from the broadcast and dvd I was at the fleetwood mac soundstage in boston 5 years ago and they put the whole show on dvd so i do believe stevie might had something to do with it cause it is her show and congrats to you on meeting stevie and the mac I have gotten to shake hands with her on stage actually first time for me was at the boston soundstage I got to shake Stevie's and Lindseys hand and the lindsey handshake is on the dvd. you do see my hands on the dvd here and there.

I am wondering why the delay of Stevie's soundstage dvd to public release is that Stevie's Crystal Visions cd and dvd was her ending contract cd with Reprise Records and she has no record label or contract at this time and that is why it keeps getting delayed maybe she has to approuch another record company to take her soundstage on and that is probably why she played Destination Unknown by Missing Persons before come out to sing. does anyone else wonder that cause the soundstage fleetwood mac cd/dvd was releases thru warner bros. records. and stevie's soundstage is release thru pbs not her record label.? curious if you think she is finding another label to go to cause that her playing Destination Unknown at the shows was a sign saying she doesn't have a record label right now and that is why her cd/dvd of sounstage is being stalled to be released. I dont want to start a rumour this is a though anyone think the same thing?

MasterCard, the show's underwriters, might be playing a role, too. Their card members were invited to the taping, their logo is all over the DVD, and their commercials aired during the broadcast. I wouldn't be surprised if there was some exclusivity clause in play here.
