male and female identities
question for you ledgies. indulge my curiosity.
ladies: what does "being a woman" mean to you? gents: what does "being a man" mean to you? as a man/woman, what expectations do you feel are placed on you by society? are they fair? are they unreasonable? do you try to live up to them? why or why not? what expectations do you place on yourself because of your sex? feel free to comment on the opposite sex, but i am primarily interested in what your perceptions are of your own sex.
