I have a friend who works at the Animal Rescue Organisation. I have a 40 hour a week job, so I don't have that much time to put into it, but I manage to squeeze in a few hours every month to volunteer. I know. that has always been a dream of mine since I was a little girl. animal rights/cruelty/protection for me=serious biz. And I understand totally. It's really hard, but i try to get in about the same as you. if i do it once or twice a month, i'm fulfilled.
