yeah....I wanna hide behind a cowardly excuse like "it was a JOKE and you have NO sense of humor" too. Thanks for showing the way Jazmen. You are my new idol. no ****. and no ironic smileys either. You all can think what you want about me, but I am not a SHEEP. just because a person has a Master's Degree (is this you?) or is a Lawyer (Jason!) doesnt mean I have to agree with what they say. I am an INDEPENDENT THINKER who is perfectly comfortable riding the fringes because, quite frankly, I think society today is too intellectually homogenized. A little FYI: society doesnt advance from the status quo, it advances from the maverick ideas and the revolutionaries. If my refusal to "go along to get along" makes me a maverick, then I am perfectly content. The rest of you can be part of the "Flat Earth" society. Cheers. I read "Black Like Me" which chronicled a white journalist' expericences as a "black" person in the 60's.......I dont recall that it improved the plight of the black person overall...perhaps society isnt yet ready to address non-white issues?
OR, perhaps the mere acquainting of oneself with an issue doesnt necessarily guarantee a societal change... ![]() Last edited by irishgrl; 08-31-2007 at 09:32 PM.. |

Mary, please....you showed that you don't know **** about depression, some of us with actual experience tried to show you the truth gently, and now you're claiming to be some kind of revolutionary. Give me a ****ing break.
I used to like you, but now I think you just like to fight. You don't care about learning. The fact that you said you were "vindicated" when Carrie agreed with something you said showed what you are all about. |

IN A NUTSHELL: Im sick and freakin TIRED of being challenged by the mentally/emotionally frustrated members of this site who act like their **** dont stink all the while they are standing in the meds line. Give me a break. If the shoe FITS, you've got a stinky sock problem. Last edited by irishgrl; 08-31-2007 at 09:58 PM.. |

Actually, it is people with low IQs who feel the need to do google research and find anything that pops up in the first 15 searches instead of making their points through logic and actual experience.
