I have a feeling she'd sing about the usual topics -- love, loss, heartache, etc. so essentially, she'd fit right in. Hell, she's almost a country artist

Sorry, I love TFFT.

I do too. I just want her to re-record the song minus Natalie Maines -- i'm interested in hearing what it would sound like.

I think her vocal on it is worlds better than the one on POTU.

Landslide w/the Dixie Chicks at Divas Las Vegas
also Wear My Ring Around Your Neck from Divas
It's Late from Enchanted
Cathouse Blues
That one Gypsy demo that's country sounding
Destiny Rules
Say You Love Me (from the Dance) with the banjo
Sorcerer
Strong Enough with Sheryl Crow from Storytellers

I hate Country, but Stevie makes it sound so much better...She is probably the only artist that can make me love a Country song!

I would like it if she did a country album where she covered older more famous country songs~ I think she would sound good and I'd appreciate country songs more if she did them~ I just need to hear something different~ I'm kinda tired of her just making different albums w/ all her old songs on them~ We need anything new!!!

I think that if Stevie did a country album, it was seriously jeopardize my hardcore fandom-ship.

I don't think of Mix Down as country at all, but Somebody Stand By Me sounded to me like something Dolly might do when I first heard it. Also maybe Tied Up In Promises.

When you put it like that it sounds pretty good ... of course I'd go out and buy it, if it's Stevie's name on the cover. But I must say that calling it "country" makes me go squeamish

Yea thats what I thought about Kid Rock, I could not stand his tunes, but the Pictures tune with Sheryl Crow was awesome.

Also I like Jon Bonjovi's crossover tunes , also I like his own tunes.
