Thumbs up My Youngstown Stevie Experience!!

Ummmm...... WOW!! That's about the best word to describe the show last night. My ears, even this morning, are still ringing from the excitement of it all. (and from the noise. I went to the show with my mom, dad, and younger sister. This was our first time seeing Stevie solo, and I was crazy excited... We all were......

Our seats were pretty freakin' good. Section 101 row Q, so we were a little to the side, which was nice because I could see through the people up to Stevie and not just the back of people's heads in front of me. So, that was nice.

Before the show, my mom and I went up to one of the security guards and asked if he knew about the Edge walk. He said that yes, he did, and that holding people back was going to be his biggest challenge of the evening. So really, this is just a nice way of me saying that security sucked...... But that's ok, I guess, I gotta say though, that I was a little heartbroken.

Vanessa was really good. My dad thought she was really cute, as he does with most raven haired musicians. The guy next to me was rude though, because he ke[t saying "enough with this girl, leave the stage already". AND on top of that, the audience wa talking pretty loudly while she was on stage.

Before Vanessa got on, my sister and I got some tour shirts, and slipped them over our pre-existing ones. Unfortunately, I didn't run into any of you guys at all, but maybe you all saw me?!?!

So, after Vanessa, the wait began. You could fel the tension in the air. It wasn't really tension as much as it was just huge anticipation, but it was still present.

And then Stevie comes out.........

There's the drum solo to Stand Back, and then the woman that we all love, the one we all admire, walks out on stage. Really for all of that song, I'm just standing there thinking, "Is this really her?" I'm looking at her, and it's really bizzare, seeing her in person so close.

The whole show was amazing. During HSML, people started sitting down, so the view was even better. I looked to the right in the aisle and security people were starting to block people who were trying to get up for the Walk, so there was going to be no way to make it up there.

Stevie looked and sounded absolutely amazing. You could definately tell she was using everything that she had left in the tank. Absolutely amazing.

BATB was amazing as was the talking she did in between songs. She told many funny stories, and to refrain from rambling, I'm sure others that were there will fill you in, but there was a time she lost her train of thought and she said "The train has left the station, and my brain was not on it." I laughed so hard, I absolutely loved it!!!

BATB was amazing, and at the end of the show, Waddy brought out her Yorkie who was wearing a matching BABT outfit. Tooo cute. Stevie also said that she will be back, as usual.

So, as you can probably tell, the show was amazing, and it sems so unreal...

Even to this moment...

Much Love,
Ethan
