My Band's Second Song (soon to be recorded) Lyrics

[The Tower]

Pretty crappy. I think the most craptacular thing about this is that you seriously think it's good and that you so obviously (obliviously) ripped off Stevie. And the fact that you think that you are "doing your own thing on this one" is even more ludicrous.

Just so you'd follow the sound of my voice.

^-- "Silver Springs"

I'm tired of trying,

^-- "How Still My Love"

Sometimes... We fall from grace.

^--- pathetically obvious

The rose colored velvet, lines the bed.

^-- "Gypsy"

Lovingly she touches his hand...

^-- "Sara"

And he turns and leaves her, by the white sand.

^-- "Bombay Sapphires"

A single tear, runs down her face.

^-- "Love Is"

The mountain gleams of snow... at wintertime,

^-- "Landslide"

Perfect stranger... meets her at the station.

^-- "That's Alright"

And he says "Baby what's wrong?"

^-- "When I See You Again"

and you waked out that door."

^-- "Fall From Grace"

He simply stands in the doorway.
Nothing to say... Then he turns and walks away.

^-- Countless Stevie songs

So, hopefully you all liked it and feel free to be critical of it.

I thought it sucked.
