Is something wrong with Spanky too? I hope he's doing ok.
Thank you so much. Spanky is at the vet tonight, she thinks he has a blade of grass caught in his pallette? He's also breathing badly, though, but we have to address that later. He also has a slight heart murmur? It will be $200 - $300 just to get the blade of grass out of his throat! (if that is what it is. There are a few other possibilities). But as of now, he is fine. Thank you so much for asking, I was very worried about him. I'm going to get more tests done in a few weeks when I get my other financial aid check.

I am sorry Amber to hear that your boy Kitty Vinnie died.I am sure he loved you, as much as you loved him.Your Kitty would not want you to be all heartbroken and upset about him.Your feeling are normal, since you lost someone you loved dearly.I know it is to soon to think about this. But I think you need to later consider gettng another Cat.So many Cats need homes from the local SPCA's. or if someone who has kittens who needs to find homes for them.
I believe you cat Vinnie will be waiting for you on the other side someday when your very old and pass away.I feel all Cats and Dogs do have Souls. Here a link with poem you may have seen before and also a web site that may help you. I shall say a prayer for your Kitty Vinnie, and you. RIP Vinnie.

Thank you for coming out of lurkage to offer me your kind words, it means a lot. I'd love to get another cat, but I have two others already (one I rescued a couple years ago). It is very tempting, I love my other cats, but they are very quiet. I want to get another Siamese motormouth to fill up the house. lol. Thank you as well for the links. I love all cats, too.

Hahaha, that's exactly how I would have described Vinnie. Awhile back, I was so irritated at him, but more recently I let his bad qualities go (he was a "pee in the house on occasion" cat, yuck), and enjoyed him for the wacko he was, got a mini carpet steamer, and moved on. And I'm so thankful for that.
Thank you so much.

Thanks, Curtie, I appreciate that. I've changed it to RISN instead of RIP. (Rest In Snacky Miaow). You know, Vinnie even liked donuts...hehehe. (not that I fed him donuts).

That is so lovely, thank you so much. His preferred prayer is: "Oh, great god of Salmon and burgers and chicken and cheese and crab and..." lol.

Siamese cats are so loyal and goofy, and beautiful.
Yeah, they are, aren't they? Thanks for talking about his miaow. He did that just because I walked in the room, and he was hungry. Which he always did, and which he always was. lol.

Thank you, Brian. I was thinking of you, because I knew you had been through this. I don't know how you do it...

Thanks, doll. And on the good side, Vinnie would never have been able to catch your bird, ever, lol. He was kind of like a polar bear cat...

I love that you called him Vinnister... That's what I'm having put on his ash holder.

I'm always devastated at the loss of a pet- they are always sources of such joy and unconditional love.
That is the cutest dog. Totally cheers me up. Are you sure Bubbles is really sorry, though? lol. I'm so glad, as always, that so many people around here walk and have dogs. Petting all the neighborhood dogs has really cheered me up. I mean, I always pet all the dogs I see, and it always cheers me up, but I need it more now.

Amber, I am SO sorry for your loss. I'm thinking of you. Maybe Vinnie and my baby Cagie are hangin' out together, discussing their weird, FM lovin' mommies.
Yeah, I wouldn't read it either. Thank you so much Livia. I remember when you lost Cagie. Although, I have to be honest, if my cat is talking to yours, it's about where to score the next Big Snack...

Did you check to see how much cremation would be? My dog's was only $65.
Thank you. I couldn't help but think of you and Cash. I'm so happy you had that extra time with him. Vinnie went so fast, I didn't get any extra warning time to visit with him, which makes me sad. Um, as per usual, everything is way more expensive here, I found one for $145.

You're in my thoughts. He sure was a cutie. RIP
Thank you, and thank you for saying he was a cutie, it's my favorite thing. I'm sorry about Pearl. It's true what you said. It's also weird, every cat is different. I mean, people without pets don't know, they think a cat is a cat, or a dog is a dog. But all of mine are totally different personalities, and Vinnie's left a big hole. You wish you could get another like it, but you can't.

BIG hugs to you, sweetie.
Thanks for the big hugs. You know, Vincenzo was my most Italian kitty... I loved calling him "Vincenzo", it made him sound so dignified, which he wasn't at all. He was more like your big goofy fat funny Italian uncle...Mine is named Paul Anthony, specifically. His son is named Anthony Paul. My other cousin is named Carl Anthony Paul... Just wanted to share an "Italian moment" with you...do you have a relative named Rocko (Rocky) too?

Thank you so much. I wish it had been softer, too. I really regret that I didn't have money so that I could sit with him while they gave him the injection, so he wouldn't be scared and stuff. Otherwise, I'm doing okay.

Hang in there. I'll give extra attention to my cousin's Vinnie kitty next time I see him, just for you.
Hahaha, that's right, I forgot about your cousin's Vinnie. lol. Thank you for your kind words.

Thank you, Sparkles, I love big hugs. And again, Vinnie would have never been able to catch your bird...lol. Isn't the house quiet without them, though? Sucks.

I'm glad you were able to get the private cremation... I think it helped me a bit... it's nice knowing that they are still near you. Luna is in a cedar box on my windowsill... in the sun... she'd like it there.
Hey, Ken! RIP Luna. Thank you, I'm glad I got the private cremation, too. So, Luna liked the sun on the windowsill, does that mean I should put Vinnie in some ground hamburger??? hehehehehe. Hamburger Heaven.

Thank you, yes it is true. I don't even like kids, so the cats really are like family. Vinnie was the bratty youngest "child", lol.
