Anyways, look, look, I got the lamp!!! The cutout part is actually made of glass, not paper. Der. I'm really excited because before I had a naked light bulb on a cord that I just draped over the back of my headboard.

You can see how there is only exactly that much room between the top of my bed and the picture. Spooky.



Here's a couple so you can see the colors in the glass...

I'm going to freak out if someone doesn't look at my new lamp.... Okay, not really. Weak, I know, totally weak. I'm just so excited. Plus, it's sunny and warm out today, like, 68 degrees.

And ended up buying an electric guitar

I couldn't resist...the guitar, case, strap and 3 extra sets of strings was given to me for only $75.

god i love southpark. my friend at work and i were just talking about the one where cartman tries to kill kyle (stan? i don't remember) out on the boat with the whiffle bat.

Dude...it was kind of sad though because this music store has been in business since just after World War II. So on one hand I felt horrible that they're going out of business and I was taking advantage of the situation...

On the other - I got a $350 guitar, case, strap, 3sets of strings and picks for $75. So really...I'm doing this:

I wound up with 5 more Rumours albums. I swear I am going to kill my sister one of these days. She collects soundtracks, preferably on vinyl, so she goes to all these little flee markets every weekend, and every god damn time she stumbles upon a Rumours album, she brings it with her. She knows I can't make myself to throw them away. She has a weird sense of humor, that girl. Can you believe I now have thirty-one copies? I swear, one day I'll end up with all 30+ million copies sold worldwide.

I came home last Sunday night and this is what awaited me. She, ofcourse, was already asleep.

yeah, same with this store. it's a family biz that's been around for decades, and they just can't compete with guitar center & the internet. it seems a little opportunistic, but they are going out of business and need all the money they can get, so

I think it is funny your sister does that, and it kind of has a really cool effect with a bunch together like that. It would be fun to see all of them up with good lighting. I mean, the cover pic itself is gorgeous.

Yes, yes. I think it's a great lamp. I love how you can't tell if it's a lamp or a UFO or the sun.

I'm beginning to suspect that's why she buys them all, because she loves the picture. She used the cover in a school project for graphic design recently. Turned out really, really cool, I'll upload it soon.
