I enjoyed her performance. I'm sure she was really nervous performing in front of that crowd. I just didn't like all the drunk superbowl fans who were more worried about getting themselves on tv for a split second rather than watching Stevie. Shame on them for disrespecting my girl! Oh, and I loved the hair. I'm sure it was just the humidity but I really wish she would wear it curly sometimes or that look on the Dance DVD cover, party crimped, party straight, messy and sexy as hell!

Partly crimped, partly straight....

I wholeheartedly both agree and disagree with many comments here, but I have to say I was amused by Stevie performing in front of a backdrop reading "Tailgate"...........

I think she would have received RAVES if she'd worn the boob shelf. Many SOTB converts would have been made.

Could you imagine Stevie with a wardrobe malfunction?

Actually, from what I could see in that dress she wore to The Melbourne Cup or whatever that thing was, her surgeon did a magnficent job in reconstructing her boobs after the removal of her implants. Her nipples looked fabulous. And I mean that in the most complimentary, unfreaky way possible. I'll go on Wire Image and copy and post the pic I'm talking about in a little bit. I'd love to know who did the implant removal surgery. Because I would love him/her to fix mine.
So maybe Howard Stern would have had a much higher opinion of her appearance if she did have a wardrobe malfunction.

I thought she put forth a damn good bit of effort actually. considering that Stevie is a pampered professional, it was destined to be imperfect since it was in front of a ton of people, not her usual setting, outside, after the rain and in the midst of choking humidity.

to me, the look in her eyes at one point and that hair...I was like "damn, wild Stevie is in there" - she sang hard and smiled and gestured and twirled and changed up the notes a bit and wore BOOTS and danced...what other effort would've satisfied you? a split and cartwheel?

Seeing her twirl without a Stand Back cape was a bit odd, but cute at the same time. I think I almost saw a smirk or little laugh as she was doing it, kind of like laughing to herself since she had no cape.

Sorry, but comfort > style. Especially on the Edge of Sixty.
I can't believe I am saying this... but I would prefer the fast twirls and her rockin' out to the safe little twirls with the boots. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE the boots, but LOVE the fast twirls better.

I thought she should have either done a new song (if she even has such a thing these days) or she should have done a different song if she's going to half-ass it with a phone-it-in performance like she did.

However, for anyone who's complaining that Stevie looked pissed, "Stand Back" is a pissed off kind of song. It's like one of the few keyboard-based pissed off rockers there is. When she sang that song on The Dance tour, there were a LOT of more pissed off performances of "Stand Back."

I don't want to see her junk, to be honest, so I'll pass on those suggestions. I thought she sounded really bored, which comes across as a less than stellar performance. The end.
