Well I kicked my ass at the gym today and did an hour of cardio since I skipped the past 2 days. Then I did legs and abs. It felt great but I'm pretty tired now!

I watched some of that too. The end actually. Oprah does not let him get a word in! Rock those abs!

Sweet.

I did my two hour cardio thing yesterday. Not Saturday, though, like last week. I think I'll only do it both weekend days every other week, it is pretty taxing. Unless I feel like it, of course. My resolution has held for 2 weeks so far, to do cardio, yoga, and my weights course all at least 4 times per week.

^ If I'm not dizzy, I try to. They say if it's just your head/nose/sinus/throat, go for it. But if it's fever/chills/cough/aches, you shouldn't. Easy for them to say when there's snot pouring out of your nose during an aerobics class.

I did 30 minutes of cardio this morning, and light weights on my lunch hour. Down side is that I'm up a pound. But I think (hope) it's bloat. That will be gone in a few days.

I don't think I would. Pretty sure of it, really. Not if it was a real cold, where I felt all crappy.

Yeah, it's just the nose thing. I was planning to go but I sometimes get paranoid that I am making things worse. I don't want to skip it though cuz I skipped yesterday and 2 days in a row is too many.

I think it would actually make it better....especially if it's just a nose thing.

That said, I never work out when I have a cold or am sick...sniffles and sinus issues? I still work out unless they reall knock me on my ass...but I have horrible allergies - so I'm sniffly all the time - I still work out - but I always take a little pack of Kleenex with me

As long as you don't get dehydrated, it's probably OK. But do what you feel comfortable with - don't go into a coughing fit or pass out from dizziness over it - you're not going to put on 20 pounds cuz you skipped 3 days.

I've been bobbling within the same 2 or 3 pounds for close to 2 weeks. I can't seem to break into the next lowest range. have I plateaued (sp?)?

what do I do to break this plateau? I have 15-20 lbs left to reach my goal and I'll be damned if I'm gonna be stuck where I am.

suggestions?

Cut back on the bad carbs and increase the protein.

Eat a little more to rev up your metabolism. Your body might be kicking into starvation mode. Have you already upped your calories? The protein suggestion from Strand is good too.
