OMG, OMG, that would be the best. R n R + Stand Back would be perfect. That combo might even get me really into the superbowl! Nah, but the crowd would love it. Plus, that is Stevie's favorite new song to do, so she probably will.

I would not like Stevie to do Rock And Roll. She has enough of her own fantastic songs to choose from. Such a prolific songwriter and she does a Led Zeppelin cover with that national audience?? I have to disagree.

For the Superbowl though? I think it would rock, show people that she's still kicking ass. That's one of the few songs she actually gives her all on these days, so I say go for it.

Default Been there......

Having attended a couple Superbowls and the pre-game festivities - I have to say not to expect too much.
There are many parties going on before the game - many sponsors - it's a very corporate environment - not fan-based.
It seems like they choose what to broadcast almost randomly, depending on
what is going on at that moment.......
I'll be thrilled if we get to see a couple songs!

She still gives her all on Edge and it's her song, so I'd rather she do SB and Edge. I hear what you all are saying, I just think Stevie should do Stevie songs.

This is FABULOUS news !

I'll tell you what, I will go into this with low expectations of seeing a whole Stevie song, and if I get it, I will be totally happy. I have to be realistic about this too. As mentioned on an earlier post, lots of corporate sponsors and many different pre-game parties.

I am so excited though because anytime our Stevie can get some national exposure (pardon the Janet Jackson pun), on her music, the better.

I hope Stevie kicks ass on SB and Edge.

So, I was more of a Lt. Col. Henry Blake, and I never got over that. I started ignoring Potter a little, cuz he droned on a bit. Like me. now.
OK, back to thread.
Sorry!
*hijacks again* I loved Potter! He was funny, and I loved his wisdom, and all of those little things he'd say...like sweet fancy moses, horse hockey. Henry Blake was irreplacably hilarious, though. Sigh, I miss that character.

What about figure skating? Remember Tai Babalonia?

Are you also sick of this cover. I mean it was great the first few times, but its already gotten old. She needs to bring back I Need to Know and do it like she did with Petty ------> AWESOME.

I'd rather have no covers at all, but if she is to have one, I agree: go back to INTK and kick it like you did all summer with Tom.

Wow. So this year I'll actually have to tune in and break away from the snacks table. Looking forward to it!
