That's it. I'm going to start calling it the "upset list" Hell, that's what happens to all of us after we hear it

And the drunk girl who thought I was 45 was at the Seahorse bar. I'm not sure if you'd left by then...

I loved it during TISL tour, but her unwillingness to even try belting the word SUR-VIIIIIIIIIIIIVE makes me wish she would replace with another rocking song.

Ditto to this. I've been thinking all day about all the fun. It was a fantastic group of people.

Some other random comments:

--Stevie spun so many times during Stand Back that I lost count.

--At the end of her extended GDW ending, she danced around Waddy and did a pose with him to close the song. Maybe she did that last year, but I don't remember.

--She was very gracious when introducing her band and talked a lot about how they had always been there for them. It was very genuine and moving.

--She doesn't play the tambo very much anymore, does she. Just a few bangs during Enchanted and Rock And Roll.

--She did the great ending to SDMHA that she did with TP this summer....yelling "around.....around....around....around".

--She did a lot of the back to the audience thing, which I love. Always have, always will.

--I really noticed her hesitance to let loose when she was so worried about keeping her hat on (it kept slipping) during Rock And Roll. Why not just take it off?

--HSML is sexy. And the fans who came running down for Edge during the middle of it were too damn early and pissed me off as I had to spend so much of the song fighting for my place.

--I need to be more assertive in turning down a kamikaze shot.

--Thank you Kim for keeping me from making a fool of myself in front of Stevie's band in the bar.

Well, the Seahorse bar (second time) is a bit of a blur for me..... At least I kept my shoes on though.

Well, whose story is it? Why is it a sore subject (and with whom) that she won't do Rooms on Fire? Argh...c'mon, you can't make comments like that and then refuse to elaborate!

You guys were drinking with Lori Nicks?? C'mon, you have to give details. You mean she doesn't think Jana can sing, either?

I know, no one has dished about Vegas yet. If Paula had gone we'd already have a hilarious multi page opus, with secrets galore...

Thanks for giving me a good laugh again. I had a great time meeting everyone and now I expect Neal to be at some more Bay Area shows so he can hang out with the gang.

Did Alex end up staying until Sun or did he go home Sat?

As for Rooms on Fire, I think Waddy mentioned to Neal that it was too personal for Stevie to sing.

Well, if she's referring to what I think she's referring to, here's the story.

I was too scared to approach Waddy, so I tried talking to Al. He was totally nice entertained all my stupid fan-boy questions that I'm sure he's sick of answering. He may have been so pleasant because he'd just been complimented on his hair by Curtis... Anyways, I asked if he missed performing 'ROF' and he just said "oh wow, that was a long time ago". I said then it's time to bring it back. He said "talk to that man/guy" and pointed at Waddy. Still being scared to approach, I asked Anita to do it for me. So she did.

Luckily Waddy was really cool too. He took a picture with me and I proceeded to kiss ass for a few mins before asking about 'ROF'. He shook his head and ran his hand across his throat. I asked why and he said some songs are a "sore subject" for her, and she still gets the final say regardless of his opinions. I kissed ass a little more... "Really?! That's too bad Waddy because I think you could do some amazing arrangements of some of those songs..." He seemed genuinely appreciative of the comments, shook my hand and said good night. I decided to let it go then turned around to tell everyone what he'd just said.
