Yeah I agree with this...... if they switched up too many songs then they would have to re-do the background images for the new songs, etc. That would be cool but I highly doubt it would happen..... and again if Taku is going back out with Lindsey and then playing at Stevies shows in March then he wouldn't be able to rehearse anything new right??

Hmmmm.... I'm surprised no one else jumped on this comment...... do you know something that we don't??? Or was this just a general comment since the setlist didn't change??? I'm curious.........

Exactly. In fact, Stevie said that they basically met to do the soundcheck, so there were no rehearsals. Like I said, went in with low expectations for a different setlist, so the disappointment wasn't deep. Still, I'm always hoping for a surprise or two.

It's not my story to tell, but yes. Apparently it's a sore subject.

I wonder why there weren't any rehearsals though. As far as we know, they haven't been up to much, except Brett and Taku, but that tour ended a few weeks ago. From what ive read, all it really takes its a few days to learn a new song on stage. And if its a song like Rooms on Fire, it shouldnt take that long because shes done it many times before. Hell, it was even done in 99 a few times. I don't think this has to do with time management, or rehearsals or whatever, I just think they don't really WANT to change anything and that upsets me.

They probably didn't want to try and figure out new background stuff either... or maybe they didn't have the time--I don't know how long it would take to rearrange stuff like that

So it seems like they make setlist decisions together. I think it's safe to "blame" both of them if you have any setlist issues. Wasn't it Waddy who convinced her she should be opening her shows with a hit and got her to trade out OTR/Dreams for SDMHA? I personally missed the traditional opener (though I do think the recent choice of Enchanted is good too).
I think you're right about SDMHA. What in the world is so complicated about Bella Donna? You know she offered him buckets of money to go out touring again. From what I understand, he had a pretty comfortable life and lots of work in LA.

Ha, no, I didn't mean it like that. I was sad I couldn't go, but not super, I'm-going-to-die sad.

As it should be. Those boots have always seemed rather sexual to me.

This is my first post in many months, and I logged on to see if anyone had posted their pics yet. Instead I find this horrible moment revisited!!!

In the defense of the poor girl who made that heinous comment, she was quite drunk. As was I (so who knows, maybe I did look 45 ).

Anyways, I had a frickin' fabulous time! Everyone was awesome, and I'm really glad I got to meet so many people who've been just screen names up until now . I'm also glad Lori and I have the same opinion of a certain backup singers vocal ability...

Okay, stuff must have happened after I left! And what's this about something thinking you are 45? Insane...but think about the kind of people in that bar, the guy showing us his nasty buttcrack, etc.
