Jannie - You look younger with your hair longer (recent pic), but I really like the shorter cut. I was thinking about something similar for myself but haven't had the nerve to do it.

Thanks- I feel younger with long hair. The short hair was an experiment. It was fiun and cute, but not "me." I am thinking that your hair is straight and shiny or am I thinking of someone else? I just don't picture it as unruly.
I meant to tell Irishgrl that she has some seriously cool hair and Deanna is just gorgeous. Not many people can pull off that kind of haircut.

thanks, those pics are about 20 years old. I posted a more recent pic on the "what do you look like" thread and as you can see, my hair is still pretty bushy even if it isnt that long...I guess I must be stuck in the 80's or something because I seriously LOVE big hair!

I agree tho, Deanna is just gorgeous she's effortlessly beautiful

I've been a long hair girl forever. I once had it short but that's because my cousin didn't understand what "long layers" meant. She gave me a boy mullet. It was awful, and she just kept cutting it for 2 years even though I kept telling her I was growing it out. Finally I got a job and fired her! It was really easy to take care of though. Plus it was an "in" style at the time so at least I had that. But I wanted a Stevie Nicks/Bon Jovi look, not like my brother!

No you're right. It just gets kind of frizzy at times. Yes, straight hair can get frizzy. Apparently.

I've thought about it, but I'm scared. Took me YEARS to grow out all my layers - not to mention the bangs. I'm also worried that it would just lay there. Not that it doesn't do that now, but I think it would look terrible if I didn't style it ever single day, whereas now I can always tuck it behind my ears & do a ponytail. I loved Theresa's hair when we went to Vegas, but I don't think mine would look as good.
