Is it too early to get in line at the theater? We could all go in costume, just like those freaky Star Wars people.

I get to be Violet!

I've seen 9 to 5 so many times, I can almost quote the whole thing. And I'm not ashamed to admit it.

Of course.

Besides, I have Violet's temperment - professional and serious most of the time, yet prone to cracking at any moment and stealing a corpse from a hospital hallway.

"HEY VERA! We got another stiff in the john..."

You're kidding! Oh, this makes me very happy. True, sequels are rarely as good as their precedents, but anything with Lily Tomlin and Dolly Parton (hell, just Dolly by herself) promises to be gloriously campy and entertaining. I can't wait. Has it been common knowledge that there was going to be a sequel? I had no idea.

Ummm NO! Because he was abducted by a tribe of Amazons in the Brazilian Forest and never heard from again. Duh.

Which brings me to that...

Violet apparently gets promoted...

Dora Lee quits and becomes a Country and Western Singer

And Judy falls in love with and marries the Xerox rep....

Will the sequel be true to those things!?!

I only recall watching it once or twice. That was years ago. I don't remember nothing about it. I may have to rent it just so I can see it again.
