Heaps of people walked out before the encore and just in general they were heaps rude to her and were more interested in Farnsy boi, there was no interaction or crowd appreciation which is ashame because I think it was Stevie's best performance.

not just the fact that 1/2 the audience left after Johnny
but
they were leaving DURING her F#CKING songs
not after.
not during the intermission
IN THE MIDDLE OF THEM

*that* is rude.

Ah ok. I noticed there weren't many people up at the stage but I put that down to the crowd being mostly older. I think Stevie should've just had Vanessa with her and that's all. I didnt see the point in adding Farnham unless it was designed to increase sales.

wot? i was up @ the stage
and there were like NO old people there lol

I LOVE Johnny but
i don't see the point in adding him to her show either
unless they were singing TOGETHER
that is why i bought tickets to THEIR shows
coz i thought that's what they would be doing

& ITA>............Stevie & Vanessa should do @ least 1/2 the show together

WOAH

And by the way, have you ever tried walking on high heeled platforms every night ? I bought a pair this winter (just couldn't resist them) and the longest i've worn them was 1 hour!

Default Stevie Concert perth W.A.

Hi all, I also went to the stevie Nicks concert at the W.A.C.A.
I have been a loyal fan of stevie and the Mac for the last thirty years and I must say I have to agree with Blue lamp on his review, I have also read all of the replies he got to his review. I was sitting in the front row of the WACA directly infront of the stage, Stevie definatly wasnt herself the magic and oomph just wasnt there, she did look stunning and her vocals were very good but its as though she just wasnt there in heart. I understand that everyone will want to feel defensive for Stevie's sake and every excuse Im sure will be made for her ....But when fans are paying good hard earned money and also have to wait for years to be able to see their favorite artist Its dissapointing to see the show lack what we read everyone else sees. I guess if America is the place you live It must be awesome to be able to catch Stevie or Fleetwood mac concerts as they are quite readily available alot of the time, But living so far away from that luxury in Australia and there only being one designated concert in each city makes one think that maybe we would expectThe same brilliance of the shows in America. I was the person who went to the stage front at the end of edge of seventeen Stevie walked straight up to me looked me straight in the eyes and said I cant twice I was the only person up there at the time. A girlfriend won a meet and greet with Stevie through the local radio station and got to see Stevie for 2 minutes after the show, She asked Stevie to sign two solo albums which she did and handed her a beautiful pic of Stevie and Lindsey Buckingham For stevie to autograph She said Stevie was reluctant to sign the picture stating that lindsey was the person that she likes least in the world, I found this comment from Stevie quite unproffessional considering personal issues should remain exactly that. I also found that Stevie didnt interact with the crowd like she normaly does it was more of lets get this show done and overwith. Also people who had bought bunches of beautiful long stemmed roses for stevie were rejected only two people got to pass stevie the bouquets Via the security guards...... all in all very disapointing

Hi There, I dont know how true her statement was as thats only something she would know. My qualm was fancy saying something like that so someone you dont know, I would have thought knowing the history between them that the subject would be out of bounds and that on a proffessional note most entertainers in the same industry suport each other especialy when they are in the same band

WOAH
im sorry you feel that way
but aside for the ENORMOUS amount of people in the audience at a (particularly Mac) concert, I think Australian shows are WAY better than the U.S ones. I certainly haven't a huge wad of tours under my belt, only 5 SYW shows & 3 Gold Dust ones but I think Stevie.....and FMac feel a little more bolder and adventurous out here SO very far away on the other side of the world. Security is strict as **** in the U.S and that really affects your experience of a show as well. I have a fave show from the US and one from here but they are for totally different reasons. Regardless of what anyone says EVERY night is a DIFFERENT show. You have no idea whether it will rock or suck ass.

sounds like Perth really sucked
i read that article the other day with the Perth review
and was getting upset Adelaide would be the same (i was not impressed with the last Mac tour here, the venue sucked ass, the weather sucked ass & the crowd was seriously quiet)
But the show here ****ing ROCKED MAN! and i'm not just saying that coz I live here. I was very very impressed overall. Stevie was happy, she was funny, there was a substantial crowd, essentially no security and her voice was spot on.

that comment about Lindsey
i don't believe it
not that she said it
but that she meant it

She has mentioned him at practically every show here
and you could hardly call her bitter. She doesn't have to mention him at all. But she does.

she must have had a ****ty flight?

If I hadn't seen any of the concerts in other cities I would've been amazed by the Perth concert. My mother couldn't believe me when I said it was the worst of the 4 shows I saw.

The Edge walk (or lack thereof) is what really pissed me off about the Perth show. In a way I'm kinda glad I didn't have seats in the first few rows (ie: the rows that were allowed up to the stage), because I would've felt totally cheated. But that's not even Stevie's fault. Whoever built the stage was totally incompetent. It was easily six feet off the ground and there was no way in hell she'd be able to reach down that far.

Maybe she was just in a bad mood that night? I can't believe she actually made that Lindsey remark though! I mean, I believe she said it, just not that she would/could actually say something like that to a fan.
