It's a dessert that has nothing to do with christmas, it is just good Mango cream: mango pulp and some coconut milk. Really yummy!

1. Eggnog or hot chocolate?
The peppermint hot chocolate they sell at Starbucks. Mmm..

2. Does Santa wrap presents or just sit them under the tree?
Santa doesn't do sh*t. I wrap them.

3. Colored lights on tree/house or white?
Too lazy to do lights on house. Tree lights are white.

4. Do you hang mistletoe?
No, never have.

5. When do you put your decorations up?
This year I did it Thanksgiving day.

6. What is your favorite holiday dish (excluding dessert)?
Excluding dessert? Hell I don't know. We're having tacos and enchiladas for Christmas dinner.

7. Favorite holiday memory as a child?
My favorite memories have all been recent.

8. When and how did you learn the truth about Santa?
I don't remember. I do remember though that I lied for several years afterwards so that I'd still get presents "from Santa" along with gifts from my family.

9. Do you open a gift on Christmas Eve?
No, the only gifts that get opened prior to Christmas are the ones that I exchange with friends. Family gifts are always Christmas day.

10. What kind of cookies does Santa get set out for him?
We never did that.
The cats would've eaten them if we did anyway.

11. Snow! Love it or dread it?
Umm... I live in California. The last time it snowed here I was like six. It can be fun, but it's just too damn cold!

12. Can you ice skate?
Never tried.

13. Do you remember your favorite gift?
My favorite gift was given to me twice and I still have it. About four years ago a friend of mine gave me two kittens (after being told I didn't want any more cats) in late November. My dad threw a fit and told me that I had 30 days to get rid of them or he was taking them to the pound. A month later (Christmas day) I still had one. We had already opened the presents and I was in my room listening to a new cd or something and my dad comes knocking on my door and says "Merry Christmas, the kitten is yours."
I wasn't happy about it at the time, since I truly didn't want another cat and wasn't fond of this particular kitten, but I adore him now.

14. What’s the most important thing about the holidays for you?
That it is a driving force that helps my friends and I to actually make an effort to get together all at once.

15. What is your favorite holiday dessert?
Cookies. But we ate them already.

16. What is your favorite holiday tradition?
We don't really have any traditions anymore. We used to watch all the Die Hard movies on Christmas when I was growing up though. Don't ask why.
These days I usually have a Blackadder marathon instead.

17. What tops your tree?
Nothing. Damn tree is 9 feet tall and there's no space between the top of the tree and the ceiling for anything.

18. Which do you prefer giving or receiving?
Giving. Though I do quite a bit of that to myself this time of year.

19. What is your favorite Christmas Carol?
None.

20. Candy canes?
I eat a few every year. I like peppermint but I don't have the patience to sit there and suck on them. They make nice inexpensive tree ornaments though.

Christmas Survey

1. Eggnog or hot chocolate?
Red wine and champagne. And lot's of it!

2. Does Santa wrap presents or just sit them under the tree?
Santa wraps presents, fills stockings and sometimes throws another log onto the fire. However, it's 70 degrees today, so I doubt there will be any of that this Christmas.

3. Colored lights on tree/house or white?
Color everywhere!

4. Do you hang mistletoe?
No...but always wanted to.

5. When do you put your decorations up?
Decorations usually go up the first week of December. This year, the house is decorated and the tree is up but the tree is bare...so, we are doing the "soap opera" thing and decorating the tree tomorrow on Christmas Eve.

6. What is your favorite holiday dish (excluding dessert)?
Honey baked ham on Christmas Eve, Steaks on Christmas day.

7. Favorite holiday memory as a child?
Getting everything on my Christmas list...my parents spoiled us rotten.

8. When and how did you learn the truth about Santa?
I was about 9 or so. I found gifts in a storage room and put two and two together.

9. Do you open a gift on Christmas Eve?
Yes...but just one.

10. What kind of cookies does Santa get set out for him?
Santa is in a big hurry and has no time to eat. At least, not at my house.

11. Snow! Love it or dread it?
I'm not a big fan of snow. I live in South Texas where we might get snow every ten years and even then, it lasts about 4 hours.

12. Can you ice skate?
I can. It's been years, but I was actually pretty good.

13. Do you remember your favorite gift?
As a child, it was this complete Wizard of Oz set with barbie-doll-ish figures of all the main characters. It came with the Emerald City that you could open up and it became the wicked witch's castle. It was awesome. As an adult, my boyfriend gave me 3 huge wrought iron crosses on our first Christmas together and they hang in my entry hall. They're gorgeous.

14. What’s the most important thing about the holidays for you?
Being with my family and the friends that I love the most.

15. What is your favorite holiday dessert?
Homemade cookies with that sinfully delicious icing.

16. What is your favorite holiday tradition?
Champagne on Christmas morning, opening presents.

17. What tops your tree?
A star

18. Which do you prefer giving or receiving?
I do love to get but I think I get a bigger kick giving.

19. What is your favorite Christmas Carol?
Stevie's "Silent Night", of course...

20. Candy canes?
Not at all...it's chocolates all the way in my home.

Fudge. My mom's is the best.

16. What is your favorite holiday tradition?

Getting up on Christmas morning to exchange gifts with my parents, then going to my grandmother's house to eat dinner and have our Swap thingy. "Steal!! Steal!!" Then, we ball up the wrapping paper and bomb each other. Hee!
