5. When do you put your decorations up? I should wait longer, but usually sometime in early December


6. What is your favorite holiday dish (excluding dessert)? I don't know. I'm not really much into food on Christmas like I am for Thanksgiving.



7. Favorite holiday memory as a child? Waking up really early and making my little brother go wake my parents up. "Santa" used to call us every Christmas morning to see if we liked our presents.

10. What kind of cookies does Santa get set out for him? Well, he doesn't anymore at our house, but it used to be chocolate chip cookies and a carrot for Rudolph when my step-son was little.

13. Do you remember your favorite gift? As a child, no.

3. Colored lights on tree/house or white? always colored, we have a huge fiber optic tree this year (we usually go real, but it was a gift), it has lotsa color on it & is gorgeous~

5. When do you put your decorations up? it has been a tradition since i was little to do it the day after thanksgiving, so i continue it w/ my family~


6. What is your favorite holiday dish (excluding dessert)? the 11 lb prime rib i slowly roast~

Favorite holiday memory as a child? when i was real little we lived w/ my grandparents for 2 yrs while my dad was in vietnam & my grandpa would do the "santa" thing~ santa would request jalapeno peppers & a beer instead of cookies & milk, then he would write me a "thank you" note on a matchbook cover...i freakin' swear, that would be so un "pc" these days~ aaahhhhh the 70's ~



8. When and how did you learn the truth about Santa? I was the 1st child & grandchild, so i think i was around 8 before i truely realized, my son is 6 & still believes~



9. Do you open a gift on Christmas Eve? just 1 small gift~



10. What kind of cookies does Santa get set out for him? we leave chocolate chip, chocolate milk & a carrot for rudolph, a real pretty one w/ the long green top, then the hubby is gagging it down later trying to make it look nibbled on ~


11. Snow! Love it or dread it? loathe it, we get alot of it tho, it is gonna be a freakish 50* & sunny here christmas day & i am diggin' it!!! ~

14. What’s the most important thing about the holidays for you? family first, but i love to do things for kids, since i run a daycare, we try to, the kids, me & w/ the help of their folks try to raise a little cash to adopt a underpriviledge little someone to get gifts for~ & feasting of course~

My mom and I were grocery shopping. She opened the trunk and I saw my Easy Bake Oven! Obviously, not gift-wrapped, and she had forgotten it was in there. I started screaming and jumping up and down, I was so happy.
