I have the Canon S2 IS and I love it!

The website, www.dcresource.com tells you allllll about it. It gives you everything you need to know about cameras. You get pictures of the cameras and also pictures they took WITH the cameras for comparison. They give you reviews, rundowns, the works! Highly recommended.

Here is the link for my camera. http://www.dcresource.com/reviews/ca...hot_s2-review/

This one is a little pricey for you, I think. I paid $400 for it. I would go with the Kodak Easyshare, that one, I've heard decent things about.

Good luck!!

I forgot to mention that the Finepix E550 also takes video, it can be as long as your memory card will hold. Here is the cutest thing I've ever seen.

Also, the photo below of Mufasa was taken with it.

Too cute! My S7000 takes video too though I must admit I don't use it for that too often. I'll take a little clip at my nephews first birthday today and try to post it later

I took this picture with it:

I had only had it a couple of days so still testing out how to work it!

Check today's ads, Willow. Lots of great deals. Office Depot has all of their digitals 15% off (the Kodak Easy Share C340 5.1 MP is $179.99 BEFORE the 15% off; the Canon Powershot A410 5.0 MP is $149.99.)

BTW - the Kodaks also have video capability (that's what I took the Stevie vids with this past year.)

Thanks everyone! I ended up getting a 5.0 mega pixel Optimus with video capabilities for only $100.00 after rebates. I've been taking pictures all today and yesterday
